2024 was hard but fair. Lots of loss and lots of lessons. Also lots of blessings. I'm grateful for it all. From watching Jordan continue to blossom, being present as Steph Curry was a legend in the Olympics, traveling to New Zealand, family time in London, hiking in Scottsdale and many other magical moments. Jordan did her thing during the fall season! She has improved so much. She put in lots of work over the summer in camps and with her trainer @taaylor.nicholson . Her goal before the season started was to hit 5 homeruns. She came up short and hit 4 homeruns, but she's really proud of her progress. She got the team Super Slugger award at the end of the season. She'll keep working and getting better. She's moving up to 12U ball for the spring season, so we shall see how that goes. She's so much fun! I love being her dad. She LOVES softball! Y'all wish my baby luck 🤞🏾💪🏾

My baby did her thing in 2023! Dancing in the streets of Paris, winning a softball championship, Beyonce concert, more dance championships, her 1st Louis on her 10th bday, Spelman Homecoming, cruising and so much more! Happy Thursday peeps! So I was having lunch around 2pm. I looked across the street and I saw a homeless person stumbling down the street as if they were intoxicated. A few seconds later the person fell to the ground and was having a hard time getting their wits about them. Many people just walked by and ignored this person. I guess I'm guilty in a way too because I didn't put my food down and walk across the street to try to help. Well, along comes a young lady to the rescue. Without hesitation she helps this person up and helps them collect their belongings. She then has a lengthy conversation with the homeless person. It was beautiful to see. Being kind and compassionate is something I wish we all were doing. Sadly, we are not. At least 6 people walked right by the homeless person before this young lady offered some help. I was really moved. After I finished my meal I walked to the coffee shop next door. The young lady who helped the homeless person walked in a little after I did. I told her I saw what she did and I thanked her for the good deed. She had tears in her eyes from her interaction with the homeless person. I paid for her coffee, wished her a good day and drove home. Let's all be a little kinder to one another. A little love and compassion can really go a long way. Man this piece by @kre8artafax is so dope! It spoke to me and I had to grab it. I'm really happy with the life I have created for myself. I go after what I want. I'm not afraid to work hard. I'm not afraid to be outside of my comfort zone. I'm not afraid to fail. I'm not afraid to be embarrassed. I'm not afraid of what people will say. I'm not afraid of a damn thing! I'm going to get everything that God has promised me. I highly suggest y'all get your piece of the pie too. There's an infinite number of slices to go around. We can all have everything we want. Damn! It really just hit me that I will turn 40 one month from today 🤦🏾‍♂️I honestly don't know how to feel about it. I don't feel old but just saying 40 sounds old as hell 😂 oh well. I'm gonna be fine at 40 lol is 40 the new 30? Well I have a lot of goals I want to accomplish while I'm 40. Time to get to work.
