The owner and operator of Rudolph’s Nightclub (also known as Rudolph’s Club) in Tottenham was Tony Walker. Was you one of those people who came to this nightclub?What era did you attend this venue in Tottenham, North London N17The Temple nightclub in Tottenham (formerly 415–419 High Road) was a later iteration of a historic entertainment venue known over the decades as the Tottenham Palais, Tottenham Royal, and Club UN. Originally, the site was the Canadian Rink Cinema (1911) and later a renowned dance hall. It was notoriously part of the Mecca Leisure Group chain.Original Building Use: The site began as a roller skating rink in 1910, then the Canadian Rink Cinema, and was converted into a dance hall (Tottenham Palais) in 1925.Key Owners/Operators: The venue was later owned by the Mecca Leisure Group (when it was known as the Tottenham Royal).Later Years: It transformed into Club UN and then The Temple in the 1990s.Final Status: The venue was demolished in 2004 and replaced by modern flats.The site was known for long-running dance nights, including 90s rave nights (Telepathy, One Nation) and had Egyptian-themed decor during its final “Temple” phase.#tottenham #northlondon #rave #nightclub #london by @theawesomeshow
