Birthdays for me are always a moment of reflection and evaluation.
I'm truly grateful for God journeying with me through the years, through the doubts, fears, wins and loses. It has all made beautiful pictures I can't trade.

And for now..
“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast my head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. I won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere I look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. God will make everything right again for me. “I'll rebuild my ruined cities. I’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. I’ll work my gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And He'll plant me, plant me on my own land. I'll never again be uprooted from the land God has given me." God, my God, says so.
Amos 9:13-15 (MSG)

Life lately has been about reflections.
There is always more to deal with; the comfort you are waiting for isn't coming.

Things don't necessarily get easier; you only become better.
There will always be a next chapter that feels harder than the last.
Life gets busier.

You don't have to live perfectly but live intentionally. by @theayomikundada

Dear Perfectionist,

I see you the one who double-checks everything. You stay up a little longer just to get it “right,” you feel a quiet discomfort when something is left unfinished or imperfect. You care way too much on the little things you alone probably will notice.

You’ve probably been praised for it. Your precision, your standards, your eye for detail they make you reliable, admirable even. But I also know the other side of it. The pressure, the hesitation, the way “almost perfect” can feel like failure.

Here’s something you may not hear often, you don’t have to earn your worth through flawlessness.

Perfection is a moving target. The more you chase it, the further it stretches. And in that chase, you risk missing out on things that matter more, starting before you feel ready, sharing before it feels complete, and resting without guilt.

There is beauty in effort, there is growth in mistakes, and also there is freedom in allowing things to be “good enough.”

The world doesn’t need more perfect people, it only needs real ones. People who try, who learn, who show up even when things aren’t polished.

So take a breath, loosen your grip a little. Let something be unfinished, unpolished, or uncertain. You might find that what you create, and who you become is even more powerful because of it.

You are already enough, even in your imperfections.

Sincerely,
Someone who understands. ❤️ by @theayomikundada
