One of the perks of working in a bakery… taste testing potential new products! 👀🍰

We’re always experimenting with new ideas for our sweet treats, but we want to know what flavours you’d love to see us make next! Think brownies, traybakes, cookies and more… what would you like to see? 👇

We had a lovely day yesterday at The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop! 🥂

It has been fantastic to welcome Visit Peak District and Derbyshire members for a Bakewell Pudding making experience, followed by afternoon tea and a glass of Prosecco.

It’s always a great pleasure to meet fellow businesses from across the region, share what we do and enjoy a little taste of Bakewell together.

A big thank you to Visit Peak District and Derbyshire and everyone who joined us! ❤️

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we received two incredible awards last night at the @greatbritishfoodawards 🎉

Our iconic, Original Bakewell Pudding earned Bronze in the ‘British Speciality category’ while our Flaked Bakewell Tart received Silver in the ‘Desserts’ category 🤩

Both of our award winning products are a central part of our heritage and have been handcrafted by our award winning bakers for more than a century!

We are over the moon especially, as this was our first time entering these prestigious awards💫

We are immensely proud of our exceptional team and our family business, which is deeply rooted in heritage❤️

🚨 DERBYSHIRE OATCAKES

We’ve been let down on an order, so we’ve got a limited number of packs of Derbyshire Oatcakes available and we’d hate to see them go to waste!

They were frozen on the day they were made, so they’re ready to pop in your freezer and enjoy whenever you fancy🤎

Pop into The Bakewell Bakery today or tomorrow, 9am–6pm, and grab a pack for just £1!

Once they’re gone, they’re gone! 👀
