Asking my aunt, an Italian immigrant, one of the toughest people I know, what advice she has for the young generations ♥️

On the daily, I hear so many in my practice who are ill and don’t get the love they need from family and friends.

It is a sad realization when you see that the people around you never cared at all. They don’t make the effort to call and ask “How are you doing?”

This is your reminder to make that call to someone you know needs it.

Part of being human is choosing humanity ♥️

Through the darkness of our struggles we can appreciate the light.

We are more resilient than we think. We adapt and we change to be able to appreciate where time has taken us.

It’s the little things that hold the value. It is what happens in the shadows that matter…how we show up everyday for ourselves, our spouses, our family, our friends.

Life is about the journey not the destination ♥️

We live in a world where we think tomorrow is guaranteed. We take people for granted. We take moments for granted.

The unfortunate reality is that the greatest mystery of life is we don’t know WHEN it will all go away.

Time is the most intimate stranger we will ever know so make the most of it and spend it wisely.

Do what resonates with your soul and the greater good. Don’t waste your time on idle gossip, anger, and resentment it will only drag you down ♥️

Never underestimate the power of a hug ♥️.

It is a powerful gesture that shows your deep connection to someone else.

You’ll never know how it can change the course of someone’s day.

In this chaotic world, protecting your energy and your peace is vital.

My mother always says in Italian, il tacere vale di più di una risposta. In English it means, silence is often a stronger and smarter choice than arguing or explaining yourself…especially with certain people.

I’d say this is sage advice and took me my adult life to understand it. Sometimes a response is not required because remember time does not change people, it simply reveals their true colors. This is divine protection ✨
