Sometimes, you’re not tired of the things you do or the life you’re building. You’re just tired of having to keep showing up for so many things at once.

Work, family, friends, personal goals, business, and everything else that needs your attention. Each one matters, but they all draw from the same pool of time and energy.

And the truth is, life doesn’t always slow down just because you’re tired.

If you’ve been navigating a season like this, this one is for you. ❤️

Lately, I’ve been thinking about something, and it’s the fact that it is okay to change.

You can be known for one thing today and become interested in something completely different tomorrow. It’s okay to change.

You can pivot in your career and do something entirely different. You can start a different kind of business. You can learn something nobody expected you to learn. You can change your mind about what you thought you wanted. You can even pick up a hobby that looks completely random to everyone who knows you.

And yes, people may be surprised. It’s okay. Let them be.

You are not obligated to remain the person everyone has become familiar with just because they are comfortable with that version of you.

Sometimes, the version of you that people know is simply the version they met. It doesn’t have to be the version you remain forever.

You’re allowed to explore other parts of yourself. You’re allowed to discover what else you can do. Life is an adventure, and I think we should give ourselves room to make the most of it.

You only live once. Explore your gifts. Try new things. Become more of who you can be, even if it means changing the version of you that everyone already knows.

And more importantly, it is never too late to change.

You are allowed to reinvent yourself anytime. Everyone else will get used to it. by @thebamiidowu

Sometimes, we hold on to an old version of ourselves simply because that is the version everyone knows. But you are allowed to evolve.

You can change your mind, change careers, start something new, or discover a part of yourself you never gave room to explore.

Sometimes you need patience; other times, you genuinely need a new direction. Be honest about the difference. And when it is time to move, don’t let the fear of what people will think keep you stuck. You are allowed to reinvent yourself.

Most times, we really do not realise how far we’ve come until we put the before and after side by side.

This is what building looks like before the beautiful part.

This is for anyone who is almost giving up…

I know the year is almost over and it’s obvious that some things haven’t worked out, some prayers are still unanswered, and maybe you’re getting tired of waiting.

I just want to remind you: God can be trusted. Your current reality is not the end of the story. Keep doing your part. Keep showing up. There is still time.
