I told you I’d be back 😎

The last few months have been full of many highs and lows (moving, visa stuff, you get it) but being back at SALT this past week was the highest of the highs! A love letter to EC… If you came to see me at Edward Carriere, then maybe I told you about the fact that my mom worked there when I was born, and that I’ve known some of the amazing stylists there literally my whole life. The idea of working there was the reason I got into hair, and it was where I started my career at 17 and met some of my best friends to this day. Even when I didn’t work there, it was where I would get my hair done. It’s unheard of to find a salon where people work their entire careers, but it’s obvious why and it’s what makes this place so amazing. My mom worked there for a second time a few years ago and now my sister Raven works there at reception. I’ll always think of this salon when I think of home and it was so nice to spend the last few months there. If you need your hair done in Winnipeg, EC is a special place 💗 taken in Edward Carriere by @thebarberbae
