Last week we sent our girl Syd across the pond. It was the hardest decision of our lives. We had our usual beach walk on the most beautiful day. The water was still. She gave us plenty of kisses for all of you. She had a ribeye steak. Thick bacon. Cheese & Popcorn for her last meal. She passed peacefully at bayberry surrounded by 34 swans and a pond full of abundant life.

Syd was the ultimate pup, the bravest girl and gave us so much the last year. Syd hiked so many peaks. Skied so many laps. Ran so many miles chasing us on bikes. Loved the ocean as much as the snow. She’s lived in WY. ID. CA. MA. Drove cross country many many times. She lived the most insane life that words can’t describe them all. I hope she left her mark on you. It’s always been Kate and Syd, that’s all I’ve ever known. We are 💔but we know she’s playing fetch for days. She will be missed by all. Thank you Syd. Give mom a big kiss. taken in Cape Cod, Massachussets by @thebardo
