One less thing on the holiday to-do list. And a little more time to make memories. ❤️

The holidays have a way of sneaking up on us, and suddenly there are a hundred little things to get done. So this year, we wanted to take one of those things off our clients’ plates.

Taylor, Jess, and I invited our clients to join us for quick 10-minute portrait sessions with Taylor, giving them beautiful, updated photos for holiday cards, family gifts, or simply to have a few new favorites together.

Of course, we couldn't just stop at photos!

We made an afternoon of it with food, drinks, and pumpkin carving buckets to take home and kick off the fall season.

And the best part? Everyone enjoyed it so much that we ended up hosting a second round of photo sessions the following weekend!

I'm so grateful for the clients who continue to trust me and for teammates like Taylor and Jess who genuinely care about making people feel appreciated.

Because real estate is about more than buying and selling homes. It's about the relationships we build along the way.

Sometimes client appreciation means handing over the keys to a new home.

And sometimes it means helping you check holiday card photos off your list. ❤️

One buyer says something about your house? That's an opinion.

Five buyers say the same thing? Now we need to pay attention.

When I'm selling a home, feedback from open houses, broker caravans, and private showings tells us more than just whether someone liked the property.

It helps us understand how buyers are actually responding to it.

And sometimes, that feedback isn't easy to hear.

As a seller, you've invested time, money, and memories into your home. It's completely understandable to feel protective of it.

But my job isn't just to tell you what you want to hear.

It's to recognize patterns, have honest conversations, and help you make informed decisions about what comes next.

That doesn't mean reacting to every opinion or immediately changing our strategy because one person didn't like something.

It means knowing the difference between an isolated comment and consistent feedback that deserves our attention.

Sometimes those conversations lead to adjustments in presentation, marketing, or pricing. Other times, they simply confirm that we're on the right track.

**The goal isn't to take feedback personally. It's to use it strategically.**

After more than 20 years in real estate, I've learned that some of the most important conversations with sellers are also the most uncomfortable.

But those conversations can make all the difference in getting a home sold.

Fresh groceries, favorite snacks, and an answer to “what’s for dinner?” Sprouts and Trader Joe’s are nearby, with more than 40 shops, restaurants, and services at Carmel Mountain Ranch Town Center. Head west for even more everyday options, including Stater Bros., restaurants, and neighborhood services.

Playground afternoons, birthday celebrations, and views worth slowing down for. Hilltop has open space, a recreation center, and community events like Movies in the Park and Winter Wonderland. Feeling adventurous? You can also access trails into Black Mountain Open Space Park.

Friday nights have a neighborhood gathering spot.
