Hello, BAR SOCIALITES FAMILY 🤍

Ashley here 👋🏼

I realized I’ve never really introduced myself or publicly said THANK YOU.

I started The Bar Socialites as a broke single mom of one, living in the not-so-glamorous part of Long Beach near downtown. IYKYK 😂

I wanted a different life for myself and my kids, and bartending was the one thing I knew inside and out.

I’ve been bartending for 20 years and spent 7 years as a competitive mixologist for The Ritz-Carlton, where I learned that hospitality is about SO much more than making a good drink.

So I took everything I knew, one little bar, and started this company.

No investors. No big bank account. No fancy office.

Just a single mom determined to figure it the hell out.

Since then, I’ve added two incredible business partners who are also single mothers, which makes what we’re building even more special to me. Three moms building a business while building better lives for our kids. 🤍

That one bar turned into hundreds of events, thousands of cocktails, an amazing team, and clients who have become family.

And that original bar? She’s STILL in rotation. 🥹

There have been sleepless nights, tears, mistakes, stress, and plenty of “WTF am I doing?” moments behind the scenes.

But we kept going.

And every booking, referral, review, share, tag, repeat client, and person following this page helped us get here.

So from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.

You helped one single mom’s little idea become something that now supports three families and an entire team.

If you’ve been here for a while, drop a 🥂 and tell me how you found The Bar Socialites. I want to see who the OGs are.

And if you’re new here, hi. I’m Ashley. 🤍

And I’m really freaking proud of what we’ve built.

🍸 NOW HIRING: EXPERIENCED BARTENDERS 🍸

The Bar Socialites is expanding our crew, and we’re looking for seasoned bartenders who know their way around a bar without needing a GPS.

We’re talking REAL experience. Not “I made jungle juice at a frat party once” experience.

Can you bang out 100 cocktails without losing your cool? Handle a wedding guest who’s six margaritas deep and suddenly considers themselves a mixologist? Make a proper Old Fashioned without Googling it?

Congratulations. You’re our kind of people.

We’re looking for bartenders who:
🍸 Have solid, professional bartending experience.
🍸 Know classic cocktails AND have actual mixology skills.
🍸 Can handle high-volume events while maintaining excellent service.
🍸 Show up on time, prepared, and ready to work.
🍸 Have personality, professionalism, and a sense of humor.

We’re a close-knit crew that takes our cocktails seriously and ourselves considerably less so.

If your résumé says “bartender” but your skill set says “vodka cranberry,” this probably isn’t your audition. 😂

📩 Experienced bartenders only. DM @thebarsocialites to apply.

Apparently tomorrow is National Book a Mobile Bartender Day. 🥂

Is it a real holiday? No.
Did we just decide it should be? Absolutely.

So in honor of this extremely official, definitely-not-made-up occasion… consider this your sign to stop making Uncle Steve pour drinks out of a Costco bottle on the kitchen counter. 😂
