Man I keep forgetting to drop this here. How have you been LIVING without this list of things to do in SA? I’ll do better.

Guess who’s vaxxed, waxed and ready for hot girl summer?

Sometimes when I do things like this for work, I think about all the effort I put in to get my journalism degree...and here I am. Just out here writing about what’s important. Really making my alma mater proud.

So incredibly proud to be a part of this beautiful, courageous, brilliant woman’s mayoral run. It was a campaign based on integrity and community, and I’ve watched her inspire so many people along the way.
Today I just want to celebrate her and all that she has given to her community. 💜

Since you asked...yes the paper airplane garnish DID make the bourbon taste better.

When working on a story about a cocktail demigod I find it’s best to get into character. 🥃

Exactly 3 years ago today I launched my very own business. And now three years later this little Basic Pitch is leaning back in.
The past year or so at @boernestarnews has been absolutely incredible. The people I met, and the stories I got to tell will stay with me always.
It was bittersweet to jump back into the world of magazines and PR, but I’m so grateful for the experience and excited for the future.
Thank you so much to my amazing team who celebrated my next steps with me. I wish my Star family all the best. This isn’t goodbye. It’s see you later. by @thebasicpitch
