Absolutely can’t wait to perform in my favourite place in the world… Swanage! I saw my grandfather Brian Johnston perform at @themowlemswanage and it was always inspiring to see him on the stage. I also watched honey i shrunk the kids there and ran out of the cinema when the big ants 🐜🐜 came on the screen!!! I know I may have achieved quite a few significant milestones in my music management career but this feels like my biggest achievement to date. Joining Hobbit @beatboxhobbit and Rupert @thebass6 - the organising team of the UK Beatbox Championships @ukbeatboxchamps - to grow funding and develop the event and organisation has been the Godzilla of projects. 🦖

Anyone who knows me knows how much I believe in education and the sharing of knowledge, so this is the realisation of a vision that is a bit of a dream come true!!

I’m absolutely honoured such incredible music industry organisations, brands and experts supported the Music Careers Convention, Music Equipment & Tech Playground and Musician’s Wellness Initiative Rupert and I put together for The UK Beatbox Championships 20th Anniversary: Festival of Vocal Arts.
Having on board and working with Help Musicians, Tonic Rider, PRS for Music, Loopy Pro, Music Minds Matter, Alpha Theta, BOSS, Roland, sE Electronics, Plugin Boutique, Loopcloud, Excite Audio, Algoriddim, Vochlea, Voloco and our wellness partners Carmex, Vocalzone, The Whent and The Roadie Medic.

Working with the most awesome music industry expert panel speakers and masterclass presenters including hip hop legend and the pioneer of beatbox himself Godfather of Noyze ‘RAHZEL’ has been incredible.

Thank you to the Arts Council England, The Department for Culture, Media & Sport, Youth Music and The National Lottery for funding and believing in us and my ambitious ideas! Your support is about all of these projects coming to life to develop our outrageously talented artists, grassroots scenes and wider audiences.

Jack, Rupert and I (aka TEAM GODZILLA) worked tirelessly for months to make this the biggest and best year of the event ever! I think we did it! I can’t thank them enough for being an awesome team and we can’t thank our event crew enough for giving it their all to bring our Festival of Vocal Arts vision to life.

It’s been a huge honour to have supported the @ukbeatboxchamps for 20 years straight!

Their event last weekend was fantastic as ever, this time at @bristoltrinity for the first time ever.

This year, we produced a range of limited edition HEMP CAPS 🧢 🍁 to celebrate their 20th year, as well as their organic T-shirts & sweaters, which almost sold out over the weekend!

Huge thanks to the wonderful team who put some much love and effort into making this such a special event every year - @thebass6, @beatboxhobbit, @mc_zani, @ginaakers, @yasson.music & the epic @nattyspeaks who hosts every time with such love and energy!

Special shout to my THTC team @horrificmedium & @eve_linazz for smashing sales on the stand for me, and my boy @mclowqui for putting me up so I wasn’t sleeping in a ditch!

Massive congratulations to all the competitors, with a big mention to @eposuk for winning the solo competition, @izen.bbx for the under 18s crown, @frostybeatbox for the loops title and Chucid for narrowly beating the brilliant @kapowbeatbox in the team’s final. Love always to 5 X World DMC champ @mrswitchdj!
