POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Just spent an hour fiddle-faddling with my display in @thebaygallery in Aberystwyth.
Have included some shiny shiny glazed dishes with little legs. Yes, legs! So cute and useful.
Also the asymmetrical jugs have made an appearance. People have been stroking them already, they're so tactile.

Found this fab card that @creativecatsbywendy did of my work too. Thanks Wendy!

Guesting with us for October, we are delighted to welcome Karen's Quilts!
Introduced to sewing at an early age by her grandmother Karen has created bespoke quilts for people all over the world.
Commissioned by Welsh artist Sean Edwards Karen made quilts for his 'Undo things Done' exhibition at the Biannale in Venice in 2018, these quilts have recently been acquired by Cardiff Museum.
Recently Karen's work has returned to the origins of patchwork, repurposing fabric and leftover scraps and we are delighted to share her work, as well as quilts and patchwork items we have some delightful little project kits!

We are all captivated by the work of @eynonymousdesigns, guest artist for October!
Eddie is a mixed media artist based in the Dyfi Vallery who combines heat reactive dye and gel print with free motion embroidery, each piece of patterned cloth and paper her own design and printed in her studio.
'Woodland Folk' sculptures, portraits, journals and accessories set in an imagined world but referencing the valleys, forests and mountains of the area.
Do come and take a look and become captivated too!

Open 10-5 Tuesday-Saturday
Chalybeate Street, Aberystwyth

I only have a small kiln. But sometimes the smallest things reveal real treasure!

Excuse my awful audio, trying to film, take things out and sound coherent was obviously too much...

This is a bit last minute!

There's lots on in Cardigan today, including the last day of @craftfestival. And whilst a whole host of my @find.amaker pals are there, you can find me at Cardigan Corn Exchange from 10am today for By The Light of a Magical Moon.

I'll be there with the ever talented @theshedbythestream, @shellynaan and @jasonwilkinswoodturner (sorry, I couldn't find a photo Jason!) for the next fortnight!

So if you're visiting Cardigan do pop in to say hello!

We are beyond thrilled and delighted to be showing work from Aberystwyth artist @kimjameswilliamsart throughout September!
This collection of small drawings, made over the last couple of years, mostly within the same square mile of Aberystwyth are quiet observations, glimpses of things seen in a moment in time, and the spaces between things, the beauty in grey and the space between things.
Also showing we have part of Kim's series of 'Haiku Drawings', ink and watercolour depicting her response to a moment, view or relationship, meditations on paper if you will!
Each piece is unique, and truly special, come and see this fabulous collection throughout September!

Chalybeate Street, open daily during September
