As Chairman of the Building Empowerment Chamber of Commerce, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended our Juneteenth Gala. With this year’s theme, “The Future Is Ours,” we welcomed more than 200 incredible leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and community members for an evening centered on unity, empowerment, and celebration.

From the inspiring conversations and meaningful connections to the phenomenal performances and talented dancers, every moment reminded me of what is possible when a community comes together with a shared vision.

This event was more than a gala, it was a reflection of who we are and where we’re headed. Together, we are building stronger partnerships, creating new opportunities, and investing in a future that belongs to all of us.

Thank you to our board members, sponsors, volunteers, performers, and every attendee who helped make this evening such a success. Your support and commitment continue to move our mission forward.

The future is ours, and this is only the beginning.

BECC is moving with legacy, leadership, and momentum. 🙌🏽

We had the honor of installing our board members and officially passing the gavel to our new Chairman of the Board, Dwayne Kent, at the beautiful Citrus Club. The room was filled with purpose, power, and people who care deeply about the future of our community.

This next season is about impact. More access. More resources. More partnerships. More opportunity for the people we serve.

And trust us, you do not want to hear about what BECC is doing after it happens. You want to be in the room. 👏🏽

Stay close to our website for upcoming events, new initiatives, and our gala. The work is growing, the vision is clear, and the community is moving forward.
