Say hi to 2025 Camper Ben Fish! Ben Fish is a New York-based lyricist, book writer, performer, and veritable idea factory. He got his BA in Theatre at the University of Maryland and an MA in Writing and Production for Musical Theater at the Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, he wrote his first musical in collaboration with Beto González: “The Final Days of Lycoming Mall.” Ben and Beto will continue work on this show while at camp, but they’re also ecstatic to hear everyone else’s work and foster new creations! by @thebenfish

Join us for a night of music from the adventurous tales told by Pixar Animation Studios in the Lamplight of The Green Room 42!💙⭐️❤️
Some of your favorite Broadway vets will be performing “Core Memory” numbers, such as “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” (Toy Story), “Into the Open Air” (Brave), “Real Gone” (Cars), and many more! There will be tears, laughs, and stellar vocals to infinity and beyond – just like any Pixar classic!🏹🚗🧸🎸🦸🌋🐠🤖

BRAZIL!!!!

Took a trip down to Rio for a truly unforgettable weekend followed by a 9-hour bus ride to São Paulo to witness closing night of @magiaomusical

It was incredible to see @nathan.leitao, @gigidebei and @letitiab242 again, and so far away from home! This production was such a colossal triumph, I still can’t get over the fact that it was real 🤩 As for Rio, I was one of maybe a dozen people to climb Corcovado to see Christ the Redeemer on a rainy Sunday. Seeing the clouds part on a mountain stairway will be a core memory for the rest of my life. by @thebenfish

Ben Fish is a Brooklyn-based Musical Theater writer, actor, and dramaturg, and he is ecstatic to premiere this show at NYTF! He began writing “The Final Days of Lycoming Mall” with Beto González at BerkleeNYC in Fall 2023. The show has received a professional showcase at Berklee, a concert at Gin Mill, and was chosen for a writer’s retreat at Drama Club Camp. Their next musical, “Songs For My Green Card”, will have a concert premiere this July. Ben currently works as an immigration paralegal and enjoys absurdly long NYC walks.

It’s finally here!! @madeleineskyemusic and I planned for MONTHS on this spiritual sequel to the John Daker video (now at 26,000 views and counting!). Consider this my Halloween costume for this year. Yes, we wear wigs.
