Met this young King for the first time in 2005. I was in my 5th year at Interscope back then.
Sat in a LoLo with a 20 year old Nip for an hour burnin' & listening to his first demo.
He was as prophetic, confident and prolific as y'all know him today.
At the time we were separated by a couple of blocks but the politics were bigger than life and or death.
He always reminded me of the first day we met. Always made me feel like a king even after I had lost my own Kingdom.

This Inglewood boy is mourning the loss of a young king & ancient soul. Our neighborhood, our community, our world...We' feelin' this one. 💔

His Vibration was of the highest. "Life Is Marathon Not A Sprint"

Hey Mister
Where you going in such a hurry
Don't you think it's time you realized
There's a whole lot more to life than work and worry
The sweetest things in life are free
And there right before your eyes
You got to Stop and Smell the roses
You've got to count your many blessings everyday
You're gonna find your way to heaven is a rough and rocky road
If you don't Stop and Smell the roses along the way ~Mac Davis~

Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared ~Tupac Shakur~

Convict Lake in Mammoth Lakes, CA was named after a series of murders and standoffs in (1871) between locals escaped prisoners.

Ironically in (1990), 12 juvenile delinquents serving time at nearby Camp O'Neal fell through the ice. 3 of the teens died and 4 other people died attempting to rescue them from the freezing water.

The energy I felt here is one of desperation, sadness and finally, redemption.
