What a dream come true it is to step on stage for my first bodybuilding show in just two weeks. This has been a goal of mine since I was a little kid.

As many of you know, it can feel like you’re either building your body or building your future financially — and balancing both is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

Lately, I’ve been incredibly blessed to be in a position where I could fully commit to both, and I’ve leaned heavily into trusting the process and trusting my coach, @bwrightcscs

The early mornings, cardio sessions, exhaustion, discipline, sacrifices, and self-doubt are all leading to this moment. Two weeks away from my first show, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the journey.

We’re not done yet. 🔥💪

📖Fasting isn’t just about denying your body food—it’s about denying your flesh control.

Every craving you overcome is a reminder that your spirit is meant to lead, not your emotions or your appetite. We live in a world that tells us to satisfy every desire immediately, but God calls us to discipline, obedience, and dependence on Him.

When you fast, you’re saying:
“God, I need You more than I need comfort.”
“I hunger for Your presence more than temporary pleasure.”

The flesh is weak, but the Spirit gives strength. Every moment of hunger becomes another opportunity to pray, worship, and draw closer to the One who truly satisfies.

Don’t fast to impress people.
Fast to transform your heart.
Fast to hear God’s voice more clearly.
Fast to remind yourself that Jesus is enough.

“The Spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” — Matthew 26:41

What are you believing God for during this season?

Men, stop looking for shortcuts and start covering the basics.

Before you chase the next miracle supplement, ask yourself:

• Are you sleeping 7–9 hours?
• Are you eating enough protein?
• Are you training consistently?
• Are you taking care of the nutrients many people don’t get enough of?

Creatine. Magnesium. Zinc. Vitamin D3 + K2. Omega-3s.

Supplements won’t replace discipline—but they can support it when the fundamentals are already in place.

Build your body. Protect your health. Show up every day.

The strongest men master the basics before they chase the extraordinary.

What an absolute privilege it is to run on the healthy legs God gave me. What a gift to move with strong lungs, to take part in endurance sports, and to have a goal that challenges me to keep going.

And what a blessing to share the journey with like-minded friends who are chasing the same kind of growth.

Another day. Another week. Another reason to be grateful.

One day, I’ll look back and wish these days never ended—the rainy runs with my baby, the long weekends with my wife and kids, and all the little moments in between.

I’m living the best part of my life right now. Thank you, Lord, for every bit of it. ❤️ by @thebettermanproject93

Welp, this ain’t a bodybuilding show 😂 Here it is, raw and unfiltered. Putting it all out there, so let the roasting begin.

I can’t stick to my diet, I feel like 💩, my runs suck, and I might’ve bitten off more than I can chew with this full marathon in FOUR WEEKS.

…Or I’m lying, everything’s going perfectly, and I’m on top of it all. 👀

Which version do you believe? Tell me in the comments. 😂👇 by @thebettermanproject93

Lace ’em up and let’s get these miles in! 🏃‍♂️🔥 Anyone else prefer evening miles, or is it just me? 😂 anyways its HOT SOMEONE TURN ON THE AC by @thebettermanproject93

Being a dad is the greatest gift on earth. ❤️

I love fitness, and sometimes I let it consume me. But moments like these remind me why I started in the first place, to be healthy, to be present, and to have as many days like this with my family as I possibly can.

Nothing means more to me than this right here.

Thank you, Lord, for the blessings you give me every day and the life you pour into me and mine. I pray I never take any of it for granted. 🙏 by @thebettermanproject93

Huge thank you to Eric Deil for inviting me out to the @funduroseries , and to Jamie Sharp for having me! I had an absolute blast! 🏁

Tyler Schaeffer, Gabe Months and Seth tippie thanks for riding with me and making it even more fun. And Sydney, thank you for the top-tier photography! 📸🔥

What better reason to come out than to support a great cause, spend time with good friends, and have a hell of a good time doing it?

Great people, great memories, and an awesome event. We’ll definitely be back next year! 🙌🏁

third place ain’t bad for ol’ dad off the couch lol! by @thebettermanproject93

Happy to make a new friend and add a few more pieces to the home gym. Killed two birds with one stone today. 💪

At this point, the gym is getting pretty serious. 😂 I still love going to a public gym because I’m a social butterfly and enjoy being around people, but there’s something seriously special about training in private.

No waiting on equipment. No distractions. Just put the music on, lock in, and work.

Little by little, I’m building something pretty badass right at home. 🏋️‍♂️🔥

✍️ lean is a must

Going from 250 pounds to 169 pounds doesn’t just change your body—it changes your entire life.

It changes you physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and even financially.

You wake up with more energy. You have more confidence. You become more disciplined. You start keeping promises to yourself, and that spills into every area of your life.

You work harder.
You make better decisions.
You show up differently for your spouse.
You become a better parent.
A better friend.
A better leader.

People notice the difference, but the biggest change is the one happening inside of you.

Getting lean isn’t about six-pack abs. It’s about proving to yourself that you can do something incredibly difficult. That level of discipline changes how you approach everything.

If you’ve never experienced it, I truly believe everyone deserves to get as lean as they can—at least once in their life. Not because of how you’ll look…

But because of who you’ll become. by @thebettermanproject93

God,

Push me toward the life You created me for.

Strip away every excuse, every distraction, every comfort that’s keeping me from becoming the man You’ve called me to be.

When I want to quit, give me endurance.
When I feel weak, remind me that Your strength is made perfect in weakness.
When fear tells me to settle, give me the courage to take the next step.

I don’t want an easy life.
I want a meaningful one.

Make me a better husband.
A better father.
A better friend.
A better leader.

Teach me to choose discipline over comfort, purpose over pleasure, and faith over fear.

I know the life I’m praying for requires a man I’m not yet.
So shape me. Refine me. Challenge me.

I’ll trust You in the process.

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

The life God has for you is worth every sacrifice it takes to get there.
