I hope you dance, I hope you dance 🕊️

My dear beloved Erica, Earth lost an Angel 8/23/22. Yesterday, 12/11, you would have celebrated your 24th birthday.

In August-October 2020, you welcomed me into your home — rent free, didn’t expect/encourage me to contribute to groceries/gas money/utilities. I was completely broke, overdrawn bank account, I had absolutely no place comfortable to go. You made your home mine, while you were in school, job hunting and taking care of your beautiful baby girl, Mx Zoe Carina. Erica. This world is dull without you. I yearn more than anything that this life was kinder to you. I wish your heart wasn’t hurting so much. Your sensitive and loving soul was infectious. You are a ray of sunshine that still beams on me to this day. You deserve peace and security.

Every time I dance, I dance for you. Every time I listen to @smino @erykahbadu @mslaurynhill or @macmiller , I think of you.

I will forever love you.

A few of my personal life rules 🖤

Rule #1: Try to appreciate where you are now.
Rule #2: I don’t care to be right anymore, I just want to be love.
Rule #3: I wil create a beautiful life for myself no matter what it takes because my direction is more important than my speed.
Rule #4 Pain makes me stronger, fear makes me braver and heartbreak makes me wiser. So I shall thank the past for a better future. I shall smile and keep it fresh. by @thebigbadboogie

It would not take long for me to think which is my favorite day of the week. “Today” I would say without even a blink. Because here I am with everything. And if I see tomorrow, it will become today. So there I will be on my favorite day.

Would you exchange a life for deductions on your expenses? Or sacrifice trans-rights for capital gains on dividends? Risk your own citizenship so your own people can’t get in? Some women voted Tuesday (11/4) to take they own rights away, they thought this ain’t apply to them, they thought they was really safe. Then there’s some immigrants out here that really think the same way! ALSO, I need to make a new year’s resolution list. Maybe some of my friends will join me? by @thebigbadboogie

Project 2025 has me f*cked up. If you want to read Project 2025 yourself, DM me. by @thebigbadboogie

pt. 2 Donald Trump’s a convicted felon.

Summary of an email I shared with a hate group, Center for Immigration Studies: Civic education is essential in cultivating informed citizens who can critically assess the policies that shape our society. However, it is concerning to see organizations like the Center for Immigration Studies—a recognized hate group—listed as part of the advisory board for Project 2025. This project, backed by figures such as Dr. Julie Axelrod, push for an immigration agenda that targets some of our most vulnerable populations.
The involvement of women, particularly from minority backgrounds, in supporting these restrictive policies is especially disappointing given the history of women’s rights. For decades, women fought against oppressive systems for the right to vote, make decisions about their own bodies, own property, and achieve financial independence. Supporting an agenda like Project 2025 contradicts these hard-won victories, promoting a narrative that restricts freedom rather than advances it.It’s important to recognize that tightening immigration controls disproportionately affects lower and middle-class families. While certain upper-income families and corporations may benefit from policies like these, they contribute to widening social divides and exacerbate inequality. Immigrants often take on jobs many citizens refuse, filling crucial roles that support our economy. However, because of systemic barriers and a lack of citizenship, they are often excluded from advancement opportunities and governmental assistance, which primarily benefit U.S. citizens. The claim immigrants are ‘stealing American jobs’ is a harmful narrative rooted in historical racism. Immigrants are not invaders; they are integral to the fabric of our country. The negative portrayal of immigrants by certain political narratives is a tactic aimed at instilling fear, particularly among rural and suburban communities, rather than offering constructive solutions to address our nation’s real issues. This hyper-focus on immigration serves as a distraction from the challenges faced by lower and middle-class families, issues that our government could and should address. by @thebigbadboogie
