The latest addition to the @audisingapore lineup, the RS5!

Available in both Avant and Sedan body styles, this is Audi's entrant to the ring when it comes to competing with the other German marques on high performance executive compacts.

Perhaps the biggest change is that it's now a plug-in hybrid! That means a 503 bhp 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 augmented with a 174 bhp electric motor paired with a 25.9 kWh battery, which is good for a total combined output of 630 bhp and 825 Nm of torque, and a century sprint time of 3.6 seconds.

Honestly, numbers are one thing, but to have a high performance long roof from Ingolstadt available again really made my day. Long live the wagon

Oh yes, the cost. It starts at $713,999 for the sedan and $723,999 for the Avant 💸🫠

It's said that every dog has its day, and in the case of @eevie_thepomsky, that definitely took place not too long ago!

While her master/servant/poop picker was preoccupied taking delivery of her new @omoda_jaecoo_singapore J6, she reveled being the centre of attention of anyone and everyone in the showroom premises, all while prancing happily around the whole place.

And if you're wondering why @eevie_thepomsky has different coloured eyes, that's called heterochromia!

With an ever expanding presence in Singapore, it's only fitting that a new and refreshed service centre is due too!

@mgsingapore and @immotorssg launched their new service centre at the first floor of the @eurokarsgroupsg Aftersales Centre at Tanjong Penjuru, with this new facility being better able to receive more cars daily, improving the overall customer experience!

This also marks the closure of the service centre in Ubi, as the land is prepared to be handed back to the government as its lease draws to a close 🥲

I recently had the @teslamotorssg Model Y L on test, and with the recent software updates, it now has @grok, which not only functions as an AI assistant, but is also a pretty good conversation partner.

That being said, with up to 16 different personalities ranging from the regular assistant, language teacher or meditation guru, it also contains, uh, some mature personalities that you definitely shouldn't use around kids.

I did not expect such answers from @grok, but nonetheless, it's still a pretty interesting feature. The voice recognition is pretty good even with the Singaporean accent, and you can actually learn a lot when you ask proper questions.

Just don't set the personality to unhinged or sexy.

Seeing how Osaka is the birthplace of the Kanjozoku, it's almost expected that one would see modified cars like this running out and about on the street, if that's what pop culture would have you believe.

But no, here was a room full of iconic JDM metal, from the GT-R50 by Italdesign, to mint examples of the BNR34, a RX-7 in a lovely shade of Competition Yellow together with another RX-7 fitted with the iconic Fortune widebody kit from @veilsidejapan, prime VTEC examples in the back, and a liveried S15 sitting pretty up front.

Almost forgot I had these photos, too. Walked in a little late to fully enjoy the premises of @mr.hiro_carstudio, but this is something I'll have to come back for

When @dongfengsg asked @paddleshiftsg, @carsntechsgp and yours truly to showcase our ideas for a northern jaunt, we each had rather different ideas on how we would go about it.

So, this is my idea of a weekend getaway, the classic choice of Malacca and Kuala Lumpur, but with some different touches!

Our wheels of choice was the Dongfeng 007 Premium, fitted with a 73.48 kWh battery for up to 650 kilometres of range! Better yet, charging speeds up to 200KW means you never have to wait long to charge back up to continue your journey!

Thanks again to @dongfengsg for powering this little escape! Definitely living up to the tagline "Drive Your Dreams"!

A little something I filmed earlier in the year when I first got a good look at the @omoda_jaecoo_singapore J8!

From the initial observations, this has the right ingredients for a people mover and long distance cruiser. 6 seats (7 seats for locally-bound units), efficient plug-in hybrid powertrain, magnetorheological suspension, and a properly comfortable interior.

More details to come when I get my hands on this for a proper test!
