As much as I have loved being a personal chef, I have decided that it is not my forever career and that is okay 💕 I am so grateful that I took the time to cultivate my cooking skills, work with incredible clients, and follow my passion.

Excited to announce that this page will now serve as my travel food blog as I embark on my next journey with my besty @aidanrodriguez74 ! I am moving to Berlin, Germany this September to acquire my MBA. I will be sharing all of the amazing cuisine we experience as we navigate the EU as well as my own creations when I can.

This first post is dedicated to one of my favorite my trips of all time- Iceland! I had low expectations about the cuisine going into this trip and I can honestly say it is some of the best I’ve had.

9. Amalfi lemon dessert and strawberry zabaglione with thai basil, ginger, and Szechuan pepper @ OTO in Reykjavik

A beautiful holiday event for my client and her friends 🎄So wonderful to cook for this group and celebrate with them!

To be real, doing events has always been the part of this career that has excited me and scared me the most! But if there is anything I’m taking with me into 2024, it is to always step out of my comfort zone because when you do you really shine your brightest 🌟 Looking forward to many more events in the future!

Spicy Tomato Ginger Monkfish with Squash 🥵

Served this with white rice and it was incredible! Monkfish is known as the poor man’s lobster with a similar texture to lobster meat and a mild, slightly fishy flavor. This sauce really enhanced its delicate flavors!

Have been MIA on here lately! 🙈I’ve been busy doing a lot of really exciting things AND sometimes taking a break from social media is essential for creativity and mental health😌

I will be sharing pics from this incredible gig in the Adirondacks in August! Big thanks to my girls @chefreneeblake and @insatiablehelga for bringing me along and teaching me sooo much. They are also the most fun people to work with, I laughed the entire week!

Pictured is my favorite dish from the week: Duck confit w/ gnocchi in a mushroom cream sauce & a mushroom medley including some BEAUTIFUL coral tooth mushrooms we harvested in the local woods.

This trip really reinforced my passion for this career path working around other badass lady chefs and really embracing rural nature and the beautiful ingredients it provided 🍄 Feeling really thankful lately!
