This dress is one of my favorite pieces I’ve made. It used to be a tablecloth that my mom would pull out for holiday family meals… when it started to show signs of age and use, she was ready to replace it, so I asked her if I could keep the fabric to turn it into something new…

This scrap dress is hand sewn from discarded material found on the NYC streets, donated fabric strips, a slip dress, a tank top, scarf and crochet ties…

It is accented with various chains and broken jewelry, the center accent is a necklace…

The neck piece is hand made from a broken belt, a hoop and hanging earring without matches, and a few repurposed necklace pieces.

Rising Collective NYFW 25’

Look 1- This two piece set is made from my great grandmothers donated bathrobe and crochet ties.

Look 2- This top is made from my earmuffs that broke in the center of the headband and some repurposed silver necklaces. The skirt is a long scarf cut in half and hand sewn at the waist with crochet ties.

Look 3- The coral reef inspired tie is freehand crocheted from various scrap yarns. It is accented with a variety of items including clip on earrings, brooches and tassels.

Look 4- The dress is hand sewn from donated scrap fabric.
