3 reasons why I tell my clients NOT to do their own hair 🙅🏼‍♀️

Ironically, I do my own hair out of convenience, and being set on a certain way I want it. But I’m also a color and extension specialist! 100% of the time, my clients are not 😅
.
Reason #1: It is extremely easy to overlap chemicals such as bleach and to get extra breakage to your hair. Also bleach and color may bleed or you may not get it saturated enough which create more problems and turns into a color correction in the long run.
.
Reason #2: Color formulating is extremely difficult if you don’t do it on the regular. This could give you a not so desirable result in tone, not covering greys, too bright roots, etc. Also buying all the color you need, and then getting it fixed in a color correction is more money than what you would have spent originally.
.
Reason #3: It’s 10x more difficult to see everything, messy, and time consuming doing it yourself rather than just going to a professional. Getting your hair done should always be a happy and relaxing experience. Trust me when I say, even for me it takes longer, and my arms, back, and shoulders always feel like I had a massive upper body workout 🏋🏼‍♀️😆
