Roadtrip Days 3 & 4: Memphis to Alma, Arkansas (hi fam!) to OKC (hi more fam!) to Amarillo (hey Cadillacs!) to Santa Fe (hola taquitos!). Me & Honey Buns are seeing it all. This is what happens when your big sister goes to Cali for college--you end up riding shotgun with your mom to take her a car. Love my little road-dog. Roadtrip Day 1: NYC to Henry River Mill Village, NC

Got up at 3 and headed south. Ella slept from Chinatown to Maryland then through most of Virginia. Amazing family reunion with bbq, a motorcycle ride (my cousin Ricky gave me my first motorcycle ride too—probably 40 years ago! Burnt my shin on his tailpipe), dr. pepper sheet cake, & my Aunt Velva's heavenly potato salad. Then we listened to my dad & my nephew Ryan sing songs until they were battling the crickets. ❤️ taken in Henry River Mill Village by @thebluepitcher
