Locally employed doctors plug the gaps and keep services afloat, all the while being employed on insecure, short-term contracts. The new Eligibility and Permanency Framework will allow LEDs who meet the criteria to move to nationally recognised SAS contracts. This is a direct result of SAS doctors standing up to be counted during the 2024 dispute and negotiations. When we stand together we can win. by @thebma
