Dear followers (new and old)… Hi, I’m Rebecca also known as TheBoldAdvocate.

This page exists because silence almost destroyed me and it continues to fail children every day.

I was conceived through r@pe.
I experienced neglect as a child.
I was exposed to explicit material far too young.
I was groomed as a teenager.
I survived sexual buse.
I became a teen mom and chose life over further trauma.

Those experiences shaped my story but they do not define me.

I found hope, healing, and restoration in Jesus Christ.
And from that place, I chose purpose over pain.

Here’s what this page is about:
• Breaking down current events involving children and families
• Exposing grooming tactics and exploitative systems
• Educating parents and caregivers on prevention and protection
• Talking honestly about how we raise hard targets— kids who are aware, equipped, and protected

Raising hard targets is not about fear.
It’s about preparation.
It’s about adults taking responsibility instead of looking away.
It’s about refusing to let predators, policies, or silence win.

This space is for parents who want to do better.
For survivors who want truth without sugarcoating.
For people who believe faith and action belong together.

Babysitting is another huge one.

This is an uncomfortable conversation but it’s a necessary one.

Not all harm comes from adults.
Sometimes, it happens between kids.

That doesn’t mean kids are “bad.”
It means they need guidance, boundaries, and supervision.

🛡️ Ways parents can help protect their children:

• Stay present during playdates, sleepovers, and group hangouts
• Avoid assuming “they’re the same age, so it’s fine”
• Teach clear body boundaries and respect for personal space
• Use correct names for body parts and age-appropriate safety language
• Normalize check-ins: “How did you feel?” not just “Did you have fun?”
• Make it clear your child will never be in trouble for telling the truth
• Watch changes in behavior, mood, sleep, or play patterns
• Limit unsupervised time behind closed doors or on devices

Supervision isn’t fear.
Boundaries aren’t shame.
Conversations don’t steal innocence, they protect it.

Protecting kids means paying attention to all dynamics, even the ones we wish we didn’t have to think about.

I thought I was prepared. I’ve taken CCW classes, sat through self-defense courses, and practiced “what-if” scenarios in my head. But when I stepped into @w.o.f.t —Where Our Families Train—I realized everything I thought I knew was just the warm-up.
WOFT isn’t a weekend warrior camp or another checkbox course. It’s elite-level, real-life survival training—for everyday people and professionals alike. And it’s where I began retraining my body, my instincts, and my mindset.
But what sets WOFT apart further is their philosophy of creation-based defense. Every move, every tactic is informed by how the animal kingdom naturally survives. One striking example: most predators won’t attack if they see your eyes. That’s why animals like tigers have eye patterns on the backs of their ears—and why butterflies and caterpillars have markings that mimic eyes to disrupt their attackers’ instincts.

A park ranger noticed a badly parked BMW. That’s it. That’s how this started.

Philly PD and the FBI are now investigating a father and son - Eugene Horsch, 44, and his late father Raymond “R.C.” Horsch - in connection with missing women tied to one house in Olney.

✅ VERIFIED (per police, FBI & local reporting):
• Eugene was arrested in June on gun and drug charges, carrying a fake law enforcement ID
• The woman with him handed police the ID of Blair Tonzelli - missing since 2023
• R.C. was married to Amy McHale, who vanished in 2016
• Investigators pulled 1M+ digital files from the home. Five missing women appear in them, some seemingly deceased, with metadata going back to 2017
• Also recovered: a basement “lab” of chemicals, fifty urns of what are believed to be wet cremated remains, and a handwritten note referencing Ted Bundy, zip ties, and “trash that needs to go”
• The FBI is roughly 30% through the files

She said she thought the oven was the crib….

Kansas City, Missouri. February 9, 2024.
Police respond to a report of a 1-month-old who isn’t breathing. They find her with burns across her body, and her bodysuit has melted onto her diaper.

According to charging documents, her mother went to put her down for a nap and “accidentally placed her in the oven instead of the crib.”

This week, Mariah Thomas, 28, pleaded guilty to first-degree endangering the welfare of a child resulting in death. She was sentenced to 13 years and gets credit for time served. Prosecutors had added a first-degree murder charge, and it was dismissed as part of the plea.

Per the judgment, she did not raise a mental disease or defect defense.

Three weeks ago, Lindsay Clancy’s jury deadlocked 11–1 over whether she was criminally responsible for strangling her three children. For five weeks, the country argued about whether she had any criminal responsibility.

Nobody is arguing about this one. There was no trial, no expert witnesses, and no national reckoning. There was a plea, a number, and a case most of you are hearing about for the first time today.

These are different states, different facts, and different legal questions, and I’m not pretending they’re the same case. But one mother’s defense was her mind, and we spent five weeks on it. The other said she confused an oven with a crib, and the system accepted a plea without anyone publicly asking how that happens.
