Sometimes the spaces we prayed for no longer fit the version of ourselves we’ve grown into. And that’s okay.

Closing @thebombshellbodega after 5 years is bittersweet, but it’s also a reminder that growth often means making room for what’s next. I’ll forever be grateful for the community, the love, and the sisterhood.

This isn’t goodbye, it’s the beginning of something bigger. Here’s to trusting the next chapter! 🥂 by @thebombshellbodega

Thank you, News 12, for shining a light on our back-to-school drive. It’s so important to have our stories told and our work amplified. Big thanks to @aceclarkmusic and @dearblackboyaffirmations for sharing his platform—he’s a true advocate for women, and I’m grateful to be in this with him.

I’m just a girl from Brooklyn trying to uplift people who look like me. Everyday people like us can work to make a difference—you don’t need a lot to be impactful. With the right collaborations, we’re reaching more people and making a bigger impact. We’re planning our next event in December and looking for funding to make it happen. If you’re interested in joining our efforts, the email is in my bio. Every bit helps—let’s keep pushing forward together! by @thebombshellbodega

My name is Andi—I’m an entrepreneur, mom, artist, and philanthropist. Community work has always been at the core of who I am. As a kid, I spent time singing Christmas carols at senior homes, helping in my grandmother’s church food pantry, and volunteering to restore classrooms with @cityyearnewyork . My sister loves to tease me, saying I must hate money because I’m always focused on giving back. But honestly, out of all my talents, the one I cherish most is my drive to serve.

Serving is more than just an action—it’s my purpose. It reminds me of where I come from and keeps me connected to my roots. My undergraduate degree in Human Services and my graduate degree in Public Health have both been crucial in understanding and addressing the social determinants necessary to assess and meet my community’s needs. These skills have helped me identify and tackle the challenges faced by those we serve more effectively.

Here are some pictures of my community—the beautiful faces that made this event a success and the faces we were able to serve. I can’t wait to share what’s next!!! by @thebombshellbodega
