The Book Menu No. 51 Starside by Alex Aster I’m really loving this edition of Starside. 💙 The different shades of blue are gorgeous, and the silver foiling looks so beautiful when it catches the light. ✨ I especially love how connected the artwork feels to the story—from the characters and dragons to all the celestial details. Everything feels so cohesive, and I love discovering the little details throughout the book. Such a beautifully designed edition. #books #bookstagram #specialeditionbooks by @thebook_menu
The Book Menu No.50 Thistlemarsh by Moorea Corrigan I really love the artwork on this edition of Thistlemarsh. There are so many little details, and I love how the art actually feels connected to the story. The manor on the cover is beautiful, but the full artwork has to be my favorite. I love the forest, the horses, the flowers and all the little details hidden throughout. It almost looks like an old tapestry, which I think fits the book so well. This is honestly one of my favorite things about special editions—when the artwork isn’t just pretty, but actually reminds you of the story you just read. Such a beautiful edition. I could stare at all the details forever. I really love the artwork on this edition of Thistlemarsh. There are so many little details, and I love how the art actually feels connected to the story. The Book Menu No.49 The Witch in the Dead of Night by Charlotte Buckley I’m really loving this edition. 🖤 The dust jacket already caught my attention, but taking it off and seeing the hardcover underneath made me love it even more. And of course, I had to check the endpapers and all the artwork inside. 🤍 These are always the little details I look for when I’m collecting special editions. I love when a book is beautiful with or without the dust jacket. FairyLoot Exclusive Edition details: 🖤 Redesigned cover with foil — @serif.and.somnia 🖤 Reversible dust jacket featuring a colourway variation of the trade cover 🖤 Full-colour character artwork + foil on the hardcover — art by @kalisamiii, design by @amysharpillustration 🖤 Different front & back character endpapers — art by @kalisamiii, foil by @blanca.design 🖤 Digitally sprayed edge by @serif.and.somnia + solid sprayed top & bottom edges Which part is your favorite—the dust jacket, hardcover, endpapers, or edges? 🖤 #bookstagram #booksrecommendation #booklover #specialeditionbooks by @thebook_menu
The Book Menu No. 48 To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo A cover made for a siren’s tale. 🌊🧜‍♀️✨ The deep ocean blues, intricate gold foiling, and gorgeous character artwork make this edition of To Kill a Kingdom feel like a little piece of the story itself. The endpapers might just be my favorite part. 🖤 @thebookishbox #bookstagram #romantasybooks #bookworm by @thebook_menu
The Boom Menu No. 47 The Sun and the Starmaker by Rachel Griffin I just want to take a moment to admire how beautiful this edition is. The cover reflects the story so well, especially the scarcity of light in the remote village of Reverie. The illustrated endpapers and translucent page overlays show memorable scenes from the story, including the magical white stag. I also enjoyed seeing how Aurora’s relationship with the Starmaker developed. Still, this was a three-star read for me. Their constant bickering became frustrating, and I struggled to fully connect with the story. Even so, I had to show off how stunning this special edition is. ✨ These presentation included the deluxe edition and the Fairyloot Edition.❤️ Both are pretty😍 #bookstagram #bookish #specialeditionbooks #romantasy by @thebook_menu
The Book Menu No. 46 Metal Slinger and Light Wielder by Rachel Schneider I was honestly in awe while photographing and filming this duology. These editions are so beautifully made—you can really see how much passion and thought went into every detail. From the dust jackets and hardcovers to the endpapers and connecting sprayed edges, this set was definitely worth hunting down. One of my favourite sets in my collection and easily some of the best cover designs OwlCrate has done this year. #book #bookstagram #romantasy #specialeditionbooks by @thebook_menu
The Book Menu No. 45 Princess of Blood & Servant of Earth by Sarah Hawley I think these two look so beautiful together. ❤️ I really love the darker fantasy aesthetic of Princess of Blood. The deep reds, the tree, the blood drops and the snake make the cover feel a little dark and dangerous, but it’s still so pretty to look at. I especially love how the lighter colors in the middle make all those darker details stand out. Servant of Earth has a different look with the teal and roses, but somehow they still match so well as a set. The sword in the middle is probably my favorite part of this cover. I also love all the little jewel details around it. 🌹⚔️ And of course, I had to show the naked hardcovers, edges and endpapers too because sometimes those are my favorite parts of special editions. 😂 Which cover do you like more? I don’t think I can choose. 😂❤️ Thank you @fairyloot for always giving us special editions that we get excited to have in our shelves❤️ #bookstagram #specialeditionbooks #books #booklover by @thebook_menu
The Book Menu No. 44 Princess of Souls by Alexandra Christo 🐍⚔️ The cover is definitely the star of this edition. I love the contrast between the dark background, Seleste’s green hair, and the detailed silver snakes framing her. The typography and silver foiling make everything stand out without taking attention away from the character artwork. The art continues throughout the book with gorgeous illustrated endpapers, a detailed hardcover design, and sprayed edges featuring snakes wrapped around a sword. Every part feels connected to the cover and the story. Which artwork is your favourite—the cover, endpapers, or sprayed edges? Thank you @thebookishbox for this amazing special edition❤️ #PrincessOfSouls #AlexandraChristo #TheBookishBox #BookCoverArt SpecialEditionBooks BookCollector Bookstagram RomantasyBooks by @thebook_menu
Book Menu No. 43 ✨ Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven This edition is absolutely gorgeous. 🌙✨ I love how the celestial details, florals, foiling, and artwork all come together, but the sprayed edges are definitely my favorite part. The colors and little celestial details are just so pretty. 💫 On the Menu: 🌙 Celestial details 🌸 Illustrated endpapers ✨ Gold foiling 🎨 Character artwork 💫 Sprayed edges — my favorite! “Until we meet again, my love.” 🌙 What’s your favorite detail from this edition? This beautiful edition is from @owlcrate #thebookmenu #bookstagram #romantasy #books by @thebook_menu
📖 Book Menu No. 43 The Cloister by Celia Aaron I knew I liked this cover when I first saw it, but I didn’t expect to love all the little details inside just as much. 🖤 The gothic windows and the blues and purples on the cover are gorgeous, and I love how that same dark feeling continues into the endpapers and interior artwork. Even the pages separating The Maiden, The Prophet, and The Church have their own designs, which I thought was such a nice touch. And of course, the sprayed edges 😍 They pull everything together so well. Definitely one of those editions that I kept flipping through just to look at the artwork. 🖤 Cover, endpapers, edges or interior art—which one is your favorite? This is my first book from @covetedcover and it didn’t disappoint.❤️ #prettybookcover #specialeditionbooks #bookstagram by @thebook_menu
