I’m 27 and I’m not embarrassed to admit that:
1. I outgrew a lot of people I thought would be in my life
forever and it still hurts sometimes.
2. I’ve had seasons where | looked put together but felt
completely lost inside.
3. I used to attach my worth to how productive I was...
now I just want peace.
4. I’ve built success out of survival before but this time, I
want to build out of purpose.
5. I don’t always take my own advice, but I’m learning to
extend myself grace instead of guilt.
6. I pray for clarity more than I pray for blessings now.
7. I miss the version of me who didn’t overthink
everything, but I also thank God I’m not her anymore.
8. Healing made me quieter, but it also made me
stronger.
9. I still get scared before I post but I remind myself that someone needs to hear this and that makes the anxiety go away.
10. I’m not perfect but I’m learning, rebuilding, and trusting God through it all.
11. I’m not chasing the “old me” anymore she served her purpose.
12. I’m becoming the woman I used to pray to be.
