August Wrap Up! What was your favourite read/show/movie?! Little late this month 💀 Another month of not posting… but I’m still keeping the wrap up posts alive. August was my best reading month in terms of new favourites! The 5 star reads will definitely be in my Top 10 this year! Books ★★★★★ - Into The Blue - Fruit Fly - Japanese Gothic ★★★★☆ - You’ll Love it Here - Then She Was Gone ★★★☆☆ - Unmissing ★★☆☆☆ - Beta Vulgaris It’s so hard picking a favourite! If I had to pick one, it would be Fruit Fly! I absolutely loved it from beginning to end. A rollercoaster of emotions. Movies - Avatar Aang - Forbidden Fruit - Project Hail Mary I finally got around to watching Project Hail Mary 💀 I absolutely loved it and think they did an amazing job with the adaption! Shows - Big Brother (S28) - The Legend of Korra - The Amazing Race Canada (S12) Finally watching Legend of Korra. It was my goal this year to get all caught up on the Avatar universe! #monthlywrapup #bookrecs #readmore #augustwrapup #monthlyrecaps taken in Waterloo, Ontario by @thebookorder

Such a good ending to the first Mistborn Era. Movies - Backrooms - Stop That Train - Masters of the Universe Shocked how much I enjoyed Masters of the Universe! It was colourful and fun! And Nicholas was bad to look at 👀 Shows - Ultimatum - Deathnote - House of the Dragon HotD had such a strong start this season… but it’s gotten a little boring. Really enjoying my first watch of Deathnote! #monthlywrapup #bookrecs #readmore #julywrapup #monthlyrecaps taken in Waterloo, Ontario by @thebookorder

Books ★★★★★ - The Eye of the Bedlam Bride ★★★★☆ - Molka - Hungerstone ★★★☆☆ - The Vacancy in Room 10 - The Divorce - You Deserve to Know Not my greatest reading month…. Took a bit to get in to some of these books. Bedlam definitely took me awhileeeee but it was worth it! I’m Coming To The Cottage I finally read Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid! Honestly, really enjoyed this one, and I think the show made the story even stronger. It’s not very often that I can say a show perfectly adapted a book, but they really nailed it with this one. I filmed this before the announcement that the Unrivalled was pushed to 2027. Totally fine with waiting! Now I just need that second season 🤣 #heatedrivalry #hockeyromance #romancereaders #bookreview #bookrec taken in Waterloo, Ontario by @thebookorder

February Wrap Up! What was your favourite read/show/movie?! Kind of wish I read more this month. I need to find more time to focus on my reading and not scrolling on my phone. Regardless I still read some great books! Books ★★★★☆ - First-Time Caller - His & Hers - Heated Rivalry - The Scammer ★★★☆☆ - We Call Them Witches No 5 stars this month 😭 but I really enjoyed Heated Rivalry! And The Scammer was one of the most unsettling books I’ve read in awhile. Movies - Bogonia - Avatar - Predator: Badlands My favourite was Predator Badlands! I feel like the last couple releases in this franchise have been so good. Can’t wait to see where they go next! Shows - Love is Blind S10 - The Traitors US S4 - His & Hers I can’t pick a favourite show this month. They were all so good 😂 #monthlywrapup #bookrecs #readmore #februarywrapup #monthlyrecap taken in Waterloo, Ontario by @thebookorder

Do you go to any book clubs?! Last Friday I had the best time at the @sbckitchener book club! The book for February was Heated Rivalry! The club was hosted at @cafeclementina_ and they nailed the menu! I had the “You Deserve Sunshine Too” cocktail and it was soo good. Of course I had to get a Tune Melt 👀 and enjoyed the “Extra Banana” Banana Pudding 😂 while we watched episode 5 of the show! We also had a lovely discussion with some prompts, a This or That game, and ended with some Trivia! I had such a good time! The next book club is March 23 and the book is When The Coffee Gets Cold! See @sbckitchener page for all the info and to sign up! #kitchenerontario #heatedrivalry #bookclubvibes #hockeyromance #booksaremyhappyplace taken in Downtown Kitchener by @thebookorder

What was the last book adaption you watched? (Mine was Wuthering Heights) I’m quickly becoming an Alice Feeney Stan! His & Hers might be my new favourite! I’m always interested in the mystery she crafts, and invested in her characters. I especially loved the dynamic between Anna and Jack. Highly recommend the audiobook! Now to figure out what my next one will be! #thrillerbooksaddict #thrillerreaders #bookreview #bookrecs #readmorebooks taken in Waterloo, Ontario by @thebookorder
