In honor of Dyslexia Awareness Month this October, The Bookshop on Main is proud to partner with BookSmiles to collect donated books, support children's literacy, and help put more books into the hands of young readers.

Donations of both children's and adult books are welcome! BookSmiles exchanges donated adult books for children's books, helping even more young readers build their home libraries. by @thebookshoponmain

Exciting news - our new website is here! 🎉 You can now shop The Bookshop on Main online anytime for store pickup or shipping, preorder upcoming releases and RSVP for events. Take a peek - we hope you find your next great read! 📚💚 by @thebookshoponmain

Fright Night was a blast! The event sold out and I absolutely this new indie bookstore that opened in Ambler, Pa.

Thank you to @thebookshoponmain and thriller author @leeykelly for putting this together. It was such a fun Halloween kickoff with @carlajeanconti @lizalterman @thomaskeels!

After our discussion, I now need a tour of the Laurel Hill cemetery!

Join our new Baking Book Club on Wednesday, November 4 at 6:30 PM!

Our first selection: Baking for Two

Join us for the first gathering of our new Baking Book Club - a chance to try new recipes, share homemade treats, and connect with fellow bakers around the bookshop table.

Choose a recipe from Baking for Two, bake it at home, and bring your creation to share. We’ll sample each other’s bakes and chat about the recipes, what worked, and what we might try differently next time.

Whether you bake every weekend or are just getting comfortable with a measuring cup, you’re welcome here. There’s no competition and no pressure for perfection - just a shared love of baking and the fun of trying something new.

Bring your bake, your book, and your appetite. We can’t wait to see what’s coming out of your oven!

RSVP on our website. by @thebookshoponmain
