Loves of my life 🐾 || It’s taken 9 months to be able to give them this title because that was reserved for my Buffy girl - she’ll always be my greatest love. These pups have kept her love alive and strong with us through silly and sweet moments (and sass too) that remind us of her. by @theboshihs

One month ago we said goodbye to our Buffy girl as she crossed the rainbow bridge.

With almost 15 years together, we raised each other. She saved me, slayed my demons, comforted me, gave me love and taught me joy, stood by me and grew with me.

We found each other in college and through living in multiple states and life phases, she met so many of my dearest people - and they, her. To know me was to know Buffy.

From day one, I told her every day that she was my whole world, the love of my life. She was my best friend. And the loss feels as such. My world is not the same without her in it but her love remains.

When I miss her, I send her love and I close my eyes imagining her friends welcoming her home, running free of pain and of fences, keeping her company until we are together again.

I love you, my sweet Buffy girl. Rest easy and run free. by @theboshihs
