🥊 Is the Ali Act About to Get Knocked Out?

This week on The Boxing Breakdown, we’re diving into one of the biggest conversations in boxing: the future of the Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act and what new proposed legislation could mean for fighters, promoters, managers, fans, rankings, titles, and the business of boxing.

Host Mark Roxey welcomes:

⚖️ Paul Haberman — New Jersey-based boxing attorney
🥊 Manny Rivera — Pennsylvania boxing promoter with Hard Hitting Promotions

Together, we’ll break down the questions every fighter and fan should be asking:

Does boxing need a league-style model?
Could this bring us the best fighting the best?
Would fighters lose protections?
Should promoters and managers be kept separate?
Who should control rankings, belts, contracts, and career opportunities?

This episode is built for boxers, coaches, managers, promoters, and real boxing fans who care about where the sport is headed.

🔥 The future of boxing is being shaped right now. Let’s talk about it.

#IsItSafe🌴👀🌴 I ain’t gonna lie… I’m still in awe of last night. Like WOW, I really did that! 😂🙏🏾🥊

For a long time, I was depressed after boxing. I couldn’t even be around the sport like that because it reminded me too much of what I lost. Boxing was my whole life, and when I stopped fighting, I felt like I lost a piece of myself too.

But last night, Allah showed me I never really lost boxing Allah was just bringing me back in a different way. Same Technician, just traded the gloves for a microphone. 🎙️😂

Big thank you to @hardhitpromo for believing in me and giving me the opportunity. And thank you to my co-host Adam and producer @theboxingbreakdown for making my first commentary gig feel so easy. Y’all had me looking like I knew what I was doing… meanwhile, my nerves were in the front row throwing combinations. 😂

Last night taught me something: just because one dream ends doesn’t mean you stop dreaming. Sometimes Allah gives you the same purpose in a whole new position.

So if you’re feeling lost, keep going. Your comeback might not look how you pictured it but it still might be better than you imagined.

The Technician is back in boxing… and this time I can’t get punched. 😂🥊🎙️🙏🏾…..10/4 copy
