The road trip across California just hit a new high! We were thrilled to host a special in-person livestream with the OurWay Out podcast. The energy was electric, the conversation was raw, and the event was an absolute success.

Together, The Breaking Bread Projects and Second Chance Kitchen are proving that transformation happens through community and shared stories. This is only the beginning—stay tuned, because there is much more to come.

Highlights
Live Connection: Real stories of resilience broadcasted live.
Statewide Impact: Bringing culinary training and advocacy to every corner of CA.

MISSION STATEMENT ______

The Breaking Bread Projects exists to uplift people from every walk of life by opening doors to opportunity, dignity, and second chances. We believe that skills create confidence, confidence creates purpose, and purpose creates change. Our programs span culinary training inside juvenile halls and correctional facilities, content creation and podcast education for emerging storytellers, and supportive services for homeless individuals, women, children, and families in crisis.

Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and industry-recognized certifications, we equip youth and adults with real pathways to employment in kitchens, hospitality, media, and beyond. By uniting nonprofits, community partners, government agencies, and everyday advocates, we create a synergetic network committed to rebuilding lives and strengthening communities.

We are here to remind people that they are not defined by their past. With shared compassion, creativity, and collaboration, we help individuals rise, rebuild, and reclaim their future—one skill, one story, and one human connection at a time.
