Join us for a hybrid (in-person & online) youth Breakin’ workshop on levels and space with @inoahchumean from @thebreakspot ! Ages 7+

Then, for those in-person, we will be throwing a 45-minute Top of the Hill Battle for youth ages 7-12!

When: 10/05 Monday
- 6-7pm ET: Workshop on Levels & Space
- 7-8pm ET: ⁠Top of the Hill Battle & Jam

Noah “inoachumean” is from Lahaina, Hawaii and has been dancing since 2009. He started skating in 2017 and that has been another fun, creative, and freeing outlet for him outside of dancing. Noah has been playing table tennis since he was 12 and won an event at the 2015 Table Tennis US open in Las Vegas when he was 18. Noah opened a small dance studio on Maui from 2019-2021 and called it “The Break Spot” which later became the growing hub for Maui dancers, offering private lessons, free classes and open sessions every week. Noah opened his own table tennis club 2022-2023, where “The Break Spot” sessions continued. Since losing the club to the Lahaina fire, Noah restarted “The Break Spot” free weekly programming in Lahaina, and moved forward continuing to pursue the creative path of acting/dancing. At the end of 2025, Noah started content creating along the lines of comedy/skits and it blew up for him. He has been continuing to build and grow that in pursuit of more professional projects/gigs for acting. taken in Urban Artistry, An International Culture and Education Project by @thebreakspot

Halau Na Kamali’i Nani o Lahaina (the beautiful children of Lahaina)!

Kumu Jan Kealani Kitaguchi, born and raised in Lahaina town, has been dancing the hula since a child and teaching hula for 20 years to many hula families, generations, and visitors. In the past, Kealani has been privileged to learn the hula from other great Kumus as Aunty Emma Farden Sharpe, Kumu Cliff Paliku Ahue, and was truly inspired by Uncle Jimmie Greig (Co-Founder of Lahainaluna high school’s Hawaiiana Club & Boarders Chorus).

Kealani believes hula is not meant to be kept for oneself but to be passed down with the rich traditions of story telling, mana’o (wisdom), and the sharing of aloha from generation to generation. Within the teachings & the sharing of the hula, it builds knowledge, self-confidence, discipline, experience & a bond of ohana (family) & aloha, within our halau members.

Weekly open sessions @fuzzboxmaui ! Every Wednesday 6-8p.

These sessions leave me feeling fulfilled each week. I love working with others, teaching, coaching, exchanging, challenging myself, and creating from each other’s inspirations.

In this round, I had just called out the young, talented and funky Cruz. We had a nice exchange. I’m proud of you, how you listen to your teachers, how creative you are, and how quickly you’re learning.
