howdy houston! 🤠 I had so much fun at worlds with all of my friends. I met some amazing people and definitely got some shirts trades I have been wanting for a while. Robo prom with my amazing sweet girlfriend @whqsclara was sososo much fun and I am so happy we went. Robonauts open house was such a fun and amazing experience! We gave it our all but didn’t get picked. That didn’t stop the fun though! taken in George R Brown Convention Center by @thebrettoninsta

States was so much fun with year and i made so many more friends and met so many people, this one is definitely going down in the book. Thanks to @capturedby.clara for the professional looking photos (the bad ones are me). Leadership was lowk so cool and I’m so glad I got to do it and win it this season. Wow troy one was a long competition but I am SUPER proud of my team and everything we did
We won ENGINEERING INSPIRATION which is the runner up to IMAPCT. This is a crazy accomplishment for our team and we are all super proud of our impact team for winning it. I luv you @yazin_aljanabi

We were the third alliance captain and ended getting third in the competition to some unfortunate circumstances… but we are on lock for STATES!!!

And to toot my own horn here a little. I WON LEADERSHIP! It is a crazy experience and now I get to stress about it at states as well 😵‍💫 but hopefully I win.

And also ESPN interview? It was super cool and I’m glad I got to be the one talking about our team! We got interviewed after every win talking about strategy and even Mays.

Coming out of the HARDEST competition in Michigan feeling pretty good.

And thank you to @whqsclara / @capturedby.clara for the amazing photos (besides for the ones on ESPN!) taken in Troy Athens High School by @thebrettoninsta

One year ago today I was competing at our first robotics competition at Woodhaven when I got a call that changed everything. My sweet little sophia needed to be put down and wouldn’t be there when I got home. It absolutely crushed me and it still hurts. But she would want me to be happy as she was always there for me when I needed it. I love you so much sophia. by @thebrettoninsta

Why waste the breath when the performance speaks for itself

Seriously I am so proud of my team and we got FINALISTS‼️‼️ It was an honor driving that robot and it was amazing driving with @mentyes303 again (even if we went against each other in playoffs). Thank you to my amazing girlfriend @whqsclara for being amazing all comp and taking a bunch of amazing photos and @tornop1 for taking the ones of her and some of me.
Our robot will be back stronger and faster so watch out for troy. taken in Marysville High School (Marysville, Michigan) by @thebrettoninsta

Some bullets dodged, some bullets taken, but we gon’ be alright.

seriously though I have definitely had some ups and some downs but these last few months and definitely the summer before and during my junior year WE pulled ts together. I could not be happier with my close inner circle and I know they got my back as much as I got theirs. My goats @killuco28, @yazin_aljanabi, and @landonjoz taking the spotlight but don’t think I forgot everybody else. You all played a giant role into this year and I won’t forget that. Saving the best for last however is the girl who REALLY pulled this year together. @whqsclara definitely deserves some praise for bringing my spark back and being there for me always. This year would definitely not have been as fun if I couldn’t make all the memories I did with her and I’m super thankful to be able to spend this time with her and start 2026 with her. And remember WE gon’ be alright ‼️
