We missed a few of our crew but we loved heading down to Milly for our version of family weekend. We had so much fun spending time with Vivian, Ellie and their friends. It’s such a blessing to have them at GCSU together. They have such a great community. Their church is just so sweet. And the lake was beautiful and relaxing. 💛

Football is back and we are a house divided cheering on the Chiefs and the Knights every week. And for the first time our boys were actually on the field at the same time.

Football requires lots of physical strength but also emotional and mental toughness. And these boys are both putting in so much work every day to get stronger and better in so many ways.

It was both tough and exciting to watch them play each other. And it was nice to see them giving each other encouragement and talking a little smack too.

Ellie went nuts and ran home to @alphagamgcsu! We are so happy that she has found her people! It was so fun experience bid day and the girls at the house were so sweet to invite the parents to the festivities.

We also got to spend a little time with Viv too. ❤️

Today we said “see you later” and left another piece of our heart in Milly. 💙💚

It was tough! But we can’t help but be so excited for what’s to come for Ellie. She’s going to LOVE GCSU.

Thankful that God carved out a little week for the two of us to unplug from our normal and get away together. It wasn’t just about having fun at the beach or not having to cook, although that part was wonderful! The trip was also about relaxing together and pouring into each other. We both know how important it is to be intentional with our time and we try to make the most of it. We really enjoyed exploring new places together and finding new adventures. We also enjoyed sitting quietly on the beach and just taking in God’s creation. We even extended the trip and stayed a couple of extra days since the storm gave us a couple of rainy days. #beachtrip #marriedlife by @thebrownleybunch

Summer has been flying by!

Maggie got her yellow belt, Fisher and Madi went on their honeymoon, our friends rented out an entire theater and we all got to see the premier of Toy Story 5, we had our annual tubing day, Easton went on a mission trip, John has been tearing it up on the new blackstone, we celebrated America, got the girls ready for college, and hung out with the kids and our friends. And we still have a couple of weeks left!!
