Tell it on the mountain, because it's almost time for our next gig!

This Saturday, join us at The Bunker to catch Andy J Fraser and The Tunstallachia Upland Boys, bringing some alternative country and folk inspired by murder ballads, the Appalachian region, and the hardships faced by folk living in the North of England. Fans of Tyler Childers, Colter Wall and Johnny Cash are going to love this!

They'll be joined also by the fabulous singer-songwriter Helen Robinson, who won Sunderland Music City's Christmas songwriting competition last year, recording the winning track 'This Christmas' - an uplifting answer to Elvis Presley's 'Blue Christmas' - right here in our studio! Fans of Carole King, Laura Nyro and Fiona Apple might just find their new favourite artist!

Tickets available on our website (link in the b i o as usual!)

It's been 42 years since @billybraggofficial played his history-making miners' benefit gig at The Bunker's Stockton Road venue in Sunderland! At the height of the Miners' Strike, it was an absolutely historic night, in the middle of a time of great strife for many communities in the North East.

If you were at this gig and have any stories, we'd love to hear them in the comments!

Many thanks to Bunker Group 35 for the photo.
