Dear Diary, Today I'm hitting the road for a slew of gigs around Northern California this weekend. I'm so excited that my first stop is back home in Sacramento: The Butterscotch Den is probably my favorite place in this weird world to sing. Also, we extended my First Friday residency through to the end of the year!! So now I get two more dates to come home and croon. (Thanks to @gods_favorite_bartender for making that happen—he's one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. I think you'd really like him.) Actually, everyone who works at the Den is wonderful as f*ck like @eclectic.khalia and @baeareaprincess and @finding.shimo and @cowgirl_b00ts—and that's just SOME of the amazing humans who work there. I'm gonna take October off from Butterscotch to perform with some insanely talented humans in LA and San Diego, but November and December better watch out cuz I'll be back in full force and ready for it to cool the f*ck down. (Thank God freezer martinis are half off when it hits 100° out—@photobraggins and @lindsaymoves knew exactly what they were doing when they came up with that deal.) Also, Juni better be there to do a caviar bump with me or I might have a crash out. Anyway, I can't wait to sing some brand new covers I've written and drink freezer martinis in what's probably the vibiest place in all of Sac, with the very cool humans who work incredibly hard behind the stick. Gonna make tomorrow a Friday for the books. I hope lots of people come dance and sing along and that we don't run out of shrimp cocktail. On second thought, I should probably get a double order of shrimp cocktail when I get there just in case. (Would it be weird to get a triple order of shrimp cocktail?) I'll figure it out. Nothing goes to waste at The Butterscotch Den. Every burger starts as trim off the same steaks we butcher by hand, which are then pressed into patties, never ground-and-shipped, never an afterthought. It’s the kind of detail you can’t see on the plate but can absolutely taste. And it gets even better. Our burgers are only $10 during Supper Hour happening EVERY DAY from 4-6pm and again from 10pm to close. Grills hot, come on down🔥 OH!
