Day 30/30 - Moon Phases 🌙

I’ve been thinking a lot about this line:

“Something in me couldn’t handle the distance from where I was and where I wanted to go.”

I think that’s what growth feels like.

Not dissatisfaction.Not impatience.

A lot of creatives are scared they’re not talented enough when really they haven’t created enough yet.

That distinction matters.

Because if you think talent is the deciding factor, every rough draft feels like evidence against you.

But if you understand creativity as something that develops through repetition, those same moments become reps.

I’ve been making music for years, and one of the biggest things I’ve noticed is how many creative skills become invisible once you’ve practiced them long enough.

From the outside, that can look like “natural talent.”

From the inside, a lot of it feels like accumulated experience.

That’s a huge part of what I’m interested in:

Why people get in their own way creatively.
How identity and belief affect what we make.
How to develop stronger instincts.
How to become more expressive.
How to build systems that actually support creativity.
How to turn creative potential into something tangible.

I make music, I experiment a lot, and I spend probably too much time thinking about what actually makes someone a better creator.

Day 27/30 - SIGNS

I’ve been realizing something…

Not every conviction comes with an explanation.

Sometimes you don’t get certainty.

You just get a persistent feeling that you’re supposed to move.

For a long time, I kept waiting for every doubt to disappear before I’d act.

Lately I’ve realized…

Faith doesn’t usually remove the uncertainty.

One realization that’s changed my life:

Most people don’t lack potential.

They lack intention.

It’s really easy to drift into a life you never consciously chose.

I’ve been trying to do the opposite.

To create on purpose.
To live on purpose.
To build on purpose.

I’ve been thinking a lot about conviction lately.

Not confidence.

Confidence usually comes after you’ve done something enough times.

Conviction is believing before the evidence catches up.
