LOVED covering rosecoloredworld at @valairdsm. Their stage presence is electric and you can tell they love what they do.

@iconforhire at the @worcesterpalladium upstairs on September 13, 2026 photographed for @thecameraaffect

I wasn’t going to post something long because I usually save the reviews for Brent on The Camera Affect’s website but today you get my thoughts as well

The first time I heard Icon For Hire’s music it was when Make a Move was a free single on iTunes. Remember when iTunes did that? Free downloads of up and coming artists, a new one every week. This one was available in 2011. Well, I fell in love with their sound. Around that time I saw they were doing a show at a place in Pawtucket called Firehouse 13 (rip firehouse 13) and it was $5 a ticket. I had BEGGED my dad to go but it was most likely a school night so he declined. That show was to promote their Scripted album. Fast-forward to 2026 and they are out and touring for the Scripted album’s 15 year anniversary. This was my first time seeing them AND I had the honor of photographing them. To say they blew me away is an understatement. Ariel still has such a powerful voice and her stage presence is phenomenal! And seeing Shawn on stage when he deals with the same chronic illness as me was wonderful! I was having a bad flair up that night from the rain but did the best I could with showing up so I know the strength it must have taken to put on the incredible performance that night. While it was a wonderful and intimate show, I do however feel The Palladium upstairs was too small a venue for them! They definitely should have been playing the regular palladium. Hopefully the next time they come around this way that’s the stage they will be on 💕

@daisygrenade brought their So Much To Say Tour to The Foundry on June 18 🌼

“Philadelphia doesn’t play around when it comes to live music, and neither does Daisy Grenade…There’s so much I could say about the level of skill they bring to their craft, but for now, I’ll leave you with one last sentiment: Daisy Grenade was always meant to be the headlining band.”

@hotmulligan returned to the stone pony summer stage for their biggest headlining show to date on june 16 ☆

“This era has given the post-emo inventors a new vitality, with their sound and personalities being louder, bigger and more confident than ever before…They were playing to crowds of 1,500 just two years ago; now those numbers have tripled.”
