Ok, so, it’s February, and I’m heading into my 6 weeks of radiotherapy. Lots of weird and wonderful appointments to attend (and occasionally dodge) and an appearance from a new character: the cupboard of mysteries.

Another day, another mask fitting.
Let me take you back to February when Clarence and I (and Mum and Dad) tottled off to UCLH for our second round of radiotherapy mask fitting. Hoping it would go as smoothly as it did back in September 2022, we were in for a big surprise… by @thecancerchrons

This charming hunk of plastic has spent the last two years trying to escape through the skin of my right cheek. At about 3am on Christmas night just past it finally achieved its goal.

Nothing is guaranteed, or stays the same for long in this good old cancery world.
But with a few weeks off in between, time for a cuppa and to search out some hints of sun.
