@thecandaceconley I’m coming for you 😤💪🏻

(Just kidding) BTS photos from the ACTION FOR ACTORS workshop hosted at @stormfrontstudios !!
Fights were led and coordinated by @justinparks_jp & @bsmitty_stunts
With honorable mentions to @thebullridingninja & @piet_wilhelm for helping out throughout the workshop.

The teamwork, coordination and dedication from everyone had made it a safe, fun time on set! A couple more weeks and we’ll have the video 👊💥

Looking for some magic? I mean, outside of acting?

Here it is ➡️ roasted garlic 🧄 🧄

Roasted garlic has no bite at all.
Insanely creamy with a punch of umami and sweetness that will instantly upgrade any meal.

It's the SIMPLEST thing in the world AND it adds so much FLAVOR
to your favorite weeknight dinners, easy appetizers, even spread plain on your favorite crackers or make the BEST garlic bread ever! 🥖

How do you do it?
Cut the top off an entire head of garlic
Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper
Wrap it in foil
Roast in the oven at 400 for 45 minutes.

TADAH! That's all there is to it!
Once you try this simple recipe, there'll be no limits to adding flavor.

How do you feel about notes?
I like to get notes, even the ones I may not agree with.

Because the director or coach or whoever is watching you as a third person has a better chance of seeing what you're doing to help you.
It can be as simple as trying a different POV or it could be something deeper for the character but I think you should always take notes to heart.

I was lucky enough to get a great note last night in our improv class that will allow me to change my approach and performance and I believe will make me a better improv actor. And maybe more importantly, he was exactly right! He saw who I am.

So thank you, @little_archibald for your insight and inspiration. @cmsimprovtulsa @codymayostudios

As in the musical "Gypsy", you gotta have a gimmick so I guess mine is going to be car recording!
Another audition, hopefully with at least a callback this time.
Thanks @codymayo for your great coaching.

Another audition self-tape ✅
The beauty of coming back to acting when you're so much older and have perspective is recognizing what a gift you've been given.
It is a privilege to be a part of this world.

Thank you @codymayo!
Today was so fun and I always learn something from your excellent coaching 😊

Let's see what happens...let's goooo
