🎅 It’s time for the first proper introduction to The Elf Jumper Collection! 🎄✨

And it felt only right to start with the main man himself… Father Christmas! ❤️

These teeny tiny jumpers have been such a fun project. Each one is hand-knitted and hand embroidered locally in Teignmouth, right down to all those little Father Christmas details. 🧶✨

You’ll spot a few variations between them — so you can pick the Father Christmas that you love the most. 🥰

A little reminder of just how much every single order means to me!

When you run a small business, it’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day of making, photographing, packing and posting, but I never lose sight of the fact that every order represents someone choosing to support something I’ve made.

It’s always a little nerve-wracking launching something new, especially when it’s something you’ve poured so much time into. When you’ve worked on something for weeks and it’s so close to your heart, there’s always that little worry about whether everyone else will love it as much as you do!

With the launch of my crochet book sleeves just around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time to revisit some of my bookish knits! 📚🌈

The Book Worm cardigan is one of my all-time favourite makes! It is one of the first things I made for my own children and I feel honoured to have made so many for little (and big) readers since. It’s such a fun way to celebrate a love of reading.

Next up is….Tutti Frutti.

A colourful mix of pinks, oranges, lilacs and mint greens, all crocheted together to make this wonderfully bright funky book sleeve!This sleeve is made from a slightly thicker, multicoloured cotton yarn.

I’ve also been busy behind the scenes setting up my very own website! 🌈

As much as Etsy has been a great starting point for The Cardi Chronicles, having my own website means I can bring all my collections together in one place, give you a much easier way to browse and shop, and have a lot more freedom over how everything looks and works.

This one feels a little bit special 🥹📚🧶

As some of you may know already, I’ve wanted to bring my love of reading and crochet together for such a long time, and somehow, these book covers feel like the perfect way to do it.

Books are a huge part of our family, so making something for others who love them too has been a real, enjoyable, labour of love. 💕

My crochet book cover collection is coming very soon… and I’m equal parts excited and nervous to finally share it with you! 🌈📖
