Being away from home makes us understand home is where our family is. This year was ultimately the best anniversary for us as a family. Loving each other is easy when there is laughter & fun! Cheers to a lifetime of love! #livinginjapan #militarywife #anniversaryideas #okumajapan #travelokinawa by @thecardonas_
Sometimes his win are his win but this is a family victory. Today our kids got to see daddy honored at his promotion ceremony. We are so proud of him because he shows up even when he is tired. I’m counting my blessing . #japanokinawa🇯🇵🇳🇵 #miltarytiktok #militaryspouse #livinginjapan #blackgirljapan by @thecardonas_

I have not had seafood boil in 4 years!!! Yes, I am really funny on who and where I eat from. So when I saw the Seafood boil post on FB.. I had to get it. Business is near Camp Hansen and the food slapped 👏🏾 Run to follow their Facebook and Instagram to find out when dishes are being sold. #militaryspouse #seafoodboil #livinginjapan #okinawajapan #typhooninjapan by @thecardonas_
Everyone told me that time will fly while raising you. Well, I told myself that I’ll just hold onto time longer to make it last and than today, May 26,2026…. I’m left wondering.. “Where has the time gone” I promise , I’ll try harder to hold onto these moments 🫂. Gabriella you definitely have a mind of your own but you love your family with a fierceness. My heart smiles as I watch you become a young lady, protector and dancer. Mommy & Daddy love you so much! Reach for the stars because you definitely can touch them 💋. Happy Birthday Gabriella 🥰🥰🥰 #birthdayinjapan #trendingfamily💙👑 #birthdaygirl3 #mommyandme #militaryspouse by @thecardonas_

As a #Haitian in Japan this was such a moment of gratitude. Every new year Haitians drink Soup Joumou aka Pumpkin Soup to celebrate Haiti’s Independence Day, commemorating the first successful slave revolt and freedom from French colonial rule in 1804. Once reserved for the French colonists, the soup became a powerful symbol of freedom, resilience, and national pride for Haitians, representing their reclaimed right to enjoy what was once forbidden. Haitians are everywhere 🥰 #livinginjapan #haitianinjapan #militaryspouse #okinawajapan by @thecardonas_
