I really earned that F #BFA 🎓🎉

Today I graduated cum laude from @floridaatlantic with a BFA in Musical Theatre and minors in Dance and Acting for the Camera! I am so grateful for everyone I have met at @fau.theatre.dance y’all have truly become my second family. These past four years have been the best of my life and I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.

By Any Other Name: FAU Spring 2026 💐🫏🧚🏼

To my last show at FAU,

Where do I even begin? These past four years have been the best of my life. I have grown so much not only as a performer, but as a person. I am so grateful for every opportunity FAU has given me. I have never been part of a new work and I am so glad this was my first! Hermia, you will forever be special to me; never have I resonated with a character so much. Thank you everyone both on and off stage for making this show so magical!

@stabillions thank you for directing this wonderful show. This show wouldn’t exist without @deblaufer.comedy and @dgreen.music, thank you for trusting us to bring your vision to life. As always, shoutout @fantel_music, thank you for making this experience and every experience at FAU great!

Freaky Friday: FAU Summer Rep 2025 ⏳👭🏼📚💍

I mean this show, wow! It’s taken me a few days to make this post because I didn’t want to believe it was actually over. Freaky Friday has been an experience I’ll never forget. Not only did I work with some amazing people, it taught me a lot about who I am as a performer.

Tech week normally adds many surprising elements to the show, but I never could have imagined the surprise I got. While we were rehearsing one of the numbers, I tore my ACL (at least I went out in a cool way). I was determined to do the show no matter what, so if you saw Gretchen on crutches and thought “what an interesting character choice” there was no choice about it. Jokes aside, I am very grateful I had an awesome team on and off stage to help with anything and everything I could ask for.

Specials thanks to @dechattles and @asnettles for directing and choreographing this fabulous show. And, as always, shoutout @fantel_music for being the best music director there is!

Yellowstone- Stage Combat

I am so happy to announce I am officially certified with a recommended pass by the SAFD in Unarmed Stage Combat. This class has taught me so much, not only about myself, but how important it is to trust your scene partner. @erinmcqueeney thank you for being the Beth to my Summer, I loved working with you this semester!

Special thanks to @leesoroko for being such a great teacher. Taking it slow really was the way to go. And how could I ever forget: safety first, safety last, safety always!

Dances We Dance: FAU Spring 2025 💃🏻🪩🖤

This show was the perfect way to end the the semester! I have never had more fun performing in a dance show. From the very beginning the atmosphere was incredible and I was excited to come to practice every week. There were 24 pieces in the show, and if it were possible, I would’ve been in all 24.

Huge shoutout to @victoria.fanellii the brains behind this wonderful piece, it was an honor bringing your vision to life.

1776: FAU Spring 2025 🇺🇸📜♥️

Wow, what a show! I am so honored to have been part of this amazing cast. I guess I can check choreographing a main stage off my college bucket list. If you told a year ago Cate what she just did, she would’ve looked at you like you were crazy. But none of this would have been possible without the hard work and support of everyone both on an offstage, we did it!!

Special thanks to Des for directing such a fabulous show and trusting me to add the extra sparkle. And as always, thank you @fantel_music for music directing! RDTE: FAU Fall 2024 💚💚

This was the perfect way to end the semester! I originally wasn’t going to do RDTE, but when @iamdaniellacoby asks you to be in her dance you say yes.
