Snapshots from our trip to Canada this summer! We made the best memories with friends and family. I’ll cherish them forever.

We planned on driving backward after Indy hyperextended her arm and ended up in a sling. We decided to change plans. Tapped out in Calgary 😝

8 years in Texas wasn’t enough time. We loved our community, our schools, our church, our dance fam, our doctors and nurses, our gym we loved all our people. Texas feels like home. I never really did get used to the heat, and it always felt extra hot, especially after a visit to Canada. We loved our pool time in the summer that’s for sure! We made so many incredible memories in Texas. I’ll never forget our whole community rallying around us while we were going through AJ getting his open-heart surgery. The people God placed in our lives, and the people we spent time with are like family. We will miss you all! I know this move is what God has in plan for us, but that doesn’t make leaving any easier. We will be back to visit! HEB, chiller bee, Hutchins, I’ll think about you often. I left a piece of my heart in Texas. To all my sweet friends, y’all come visit!!! by @thechann16

Lennon is 11! She’s a joy to celebrate because she is always celebrating others. She has the biggest heart. She loves to dance, bake/cook, serve and spend time with her friends. Ace accepted a job offer in the Chicago suburbs so we will be moving this summer. We’ve moved a few times so we know what to expect, but this time feels a little different. Texas is special and it holds a place in my heart. We really have THE BEST friends ever that are like family. Y’all are what make moving hard. We love our people!!!! I’ve kind of been in denial. I really feed like we will be back someday. Coustol’s are headed to Illinois this summer…. We bought a home with a bit of land, this is the barn and garden. We’re getting ready for 4 true seasons with snow again…. And lots of outdoor time. Time to explore. Make new memories. And maybe learn some mini homesteading?! Travel journal: NYC last weekend 🗽 🥯 ☕️ 🚕

We had the most luxurious New York City trip thanks to Ace’s work Presidents Club. We were spoiled with a top-floor stay at The Plaza, just steps from Central Park. Ace and I finally got to do all the things we missed on our last visit in November (from grabbing coffee at the Ralph’s cart to taking an unrushed stroll through Central Park that somehow turned into multiple chess games, including one against a chess master in the park.) ♟️

We visited the 9/11 Memorial, rode bikes through the city traffic (and barely made it back in one piece), explored the Met, and soaked in so much history along the way. We were also treated to an incredible dinner yacht cruise with the most unreal sunset views of the Statue of Liberty.

But honestly, I think my favorite part was ending the nights at the karaoke bar and comedy club. The perfect mix of planned adventures and chill downtime. Already looking forward to our next NYC trip ✨ shout out to baba for holding down the fort!!! 🙏🏼🙌🏻😍 by @thechann16
