It was truly a blessing to host my family reunion in Houston for the first and last time. We started off with rodeo night, to then introducing them to a mental health counselor providing them with resources and tools that will help them day to day, to ending the last night with a beautiful reception @studioeight08 , to praising the lord together as family at @wheeleravenuebc and ending with brunch at home. #family by @thechaptersofthirty

What an awesome event in Washington DC, at the HBCU Empower Entrepreneurship Summit presented by Howard University & PNC National Center for Entrepreneurship! I am truly inspired by the connections and collaboration within this community.

Howard University & PNC National Center for Entrepreneurship—this was my first time attending, and I was glad that I, along with Alexandre Swayne , was able to represent on behalf of NMSDC . Not only did we attend, but we also had the opportunity to connect one-on-one with entrepreneurs during office hours, offering guidance, ideas, and resources.

We left the summit with major momentum supporting the growth of our ecosystem by helping secure:

- 6 additional applicants to join the 2026 Emerging Young Entrepreneurs cohort

- 5 applications from well-known professionals in their respected fields to become mentors

This event was truly a life changer. Grateful for the community, the conversations, and the impact we created together.
