Some moments feel too sacred to exist longer than the time it takes to experience them. You just have to be there. This sentiment coupled with my fear of judgment is how I’ve developed an aversion to being perceived doing what I love on here. Despite that …I am here AND I am now posting. Happy (late) birthday post ✨ this year set a high bar. I found a great love, I got to see parts of the world I never have before, I started my own vocal coaching business as well as a black woman lead book club. I celebrated loved ones. I learned the difference between expectations, boundaries, and standards. I rested when it was called for and pushed through when rest wasn’t an option. This year was full.
