Adding “Runway Judge” to my resume! 🤓This past weekend, I had the honour of being a judge at Runway Kids Fashion Week in Montreal! Big thanks to @lovetkfw for the invite! 🩷There were over 400 kids and teens, ages 3 to 18, that auditioned for Montreal Fashion Week and it was such a thrill. I was recently voted, and won, as Ottawa’s Favorite Fashion Influencer for the third year running at the recent Faces Magazine Awards. I'm deeply grateful! My journey on Instagram began as a casual hobby, a way to unwind and disconnect from my work as a neuropsychologist, suggested by a younger colleague who knew my love for fashion. Little did I know it would evolve into such a fun side hustle, connecting me with amazing people and opening doors to exciting opportunities. Back from vacation and finally sharing all the Charleston highlights! 🤍 One of the questions I was asked most during our trip was, “Where are you staying?”We stayed @thenickelhotel , a luxury boutique hotel, and it did not disappoint! Located right on upper King Street, it was the perfect home base. We could easily walk to all the shops, restaurants and so many of Charleston’s beautiful historic sights.Our suite felt more like a chic apartment than a hotel room, with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and thoughtful little touches that made it feel extra special.Every morning we grabbed coffee from Bar Daniel and enjoyed it in the beautiful courtyard with a fountain.In the evenings, we had cocktails and delicious bites @rosemaryroselounge , the hotel’s stunning rooftop lounge. It was the perfect way to end each day!We also had a rental car, so having valet parking was such a luxury, we never had to worry about parking downtown.Beautiful design, thoughtful details, an unbeatable location, and the kind of hotel that makes your vacation feel just a little more special. A little birthday refresh recently @danestheticsmedical ✨This visit was extra fun because I got to try the clinic’s new VISIA Skin Analysis system, which looks beneath the surface of your skin and gives you a report card on what’s really going on.The verdict? My skin tested about 4 years younger than my actual age. I’ll take that win! 🙌After reviewing the results, Dan and I decided on a touch of Botox and Radiesse (which is new to me) to help support collagen and address some of the volume loss that naturally comes with age.One thing I really appreciate about Dan is that there’s never a one-size-fits-all approach. Because of my Hashimoto’s, we’re taking a gradual, customized path using diluted Radiesse over a series of appointments. I really appreciate that thoughtful, individualized approach.Aging is inevitable. Looking and feeling your best along the way?
