“Howdy do. This is Peter McCallister, the father. I’d like a hotel room please, with an extra large bed, a TV, and one of those little refrigerators you have to open with a key. Credit card? You got it.” 🚕

Back from an epic NYC Christmas getaway with these 3…that’s right, I was there too. They weren’t actually solo like Kevin 😂

“All the great ones leave their mark. We’re the wet bandits!”

You didn’t think I was going to go a whole Halloween season without a single DIY costume?! 👻

I tapped on my costume hashtag #chirpingdiycostumes to find an old costume post and it will forever be my favorite collection of photos of all the fun we’ve had at Halloween. So just one this year… but might be one of my favorites 😍

Tip: for feathers on a coat: double sided tape! Keeps the feathers in place and then you can easily remove the tape and not ruin the jacket!

“Just tap it in. Give it a little tappy. Tap tap taparoo.” ⛳️

The easiest, most fun costume for brothers yet. Mainly because they were so into the characters. Especially Otto the Caddy because saltines are his favorite food right now 😂

Took my 3 wild, sports-loving boys to London and they are already asking to go back. From the Chelsea FC pitch to the Uber Boat down the Thames — this city delivered for them in every way. Full boys’ itinerary on the blog. 🇬🇧

Summer ‘26. In the books. 🌊

17 summers. 5 kids. This is the first one where I just stood on the shore and watched them ALL swim together.

Have you heard of the lighthouse stage of parenting? It’s the season when your job shifts. You’re no longer in the water next to them, holding them up. You’re on the shore. Still there, still steady, still the light they swim back to. Just not needed in the same way anymore. Starting to feel the shift, even with the littlest. 🩵

More adventures ahead. 🌊 by @thechirpingmoms

Ending the summer with handprints because next summer his hand will be a lot bigger. ❤️

Handprint crafts will forever be my favorite. Years and years of these in our house, and they are always my favorite treasures.

This is a cute one for end of summer: fish handprints! Easy and fun to do. 🐟 🐠

Get ready with me to send the boys off to baseball camp ⚾️

3 boys, 3x the gear, so many opportunities for missing items.🤪

Do you want their gear to come home from camp? Label it 🙌🏼
I used the Name Bubbles Day Camp Set.

I have been using @namebubbles for school, sports and camp labeling for almost a decade now. The quality, the sets of sizes, the designs, etc - they’re always my go to!
